"Good hotel with a very convenient location, basically next to the main train station. All the shampoo, body wash and lotions are from Rituals, which is good quality and definitely a plus.
Breakfast was decent but nothing outstanding and pretty ordinary, though we later understood its quite common with other hotels in Portugal.
Staff was friendly and welcoming."

"Min övergripande erfarenhet var bra men den enda nackdelen för mig är platsen. Det behöver en lång promenad, cirka 20-30 minuter, för att komma till huvudstadsområdet. Jag var tvungen att ta en taxi eller Bolt för att återvända till hotellet varje natt.
Rummet var rent med en stor king size-säng. Rummets storlek är rimlig. Vi var på första våningen mot gatan, det var ganska på natten. Tofflor tillhandahölls på begäran. Personalen var mycket artig och vänlig. Det var inga problem med kommunikationen på engelska. De föreslog också många restauranger och sevärdheter för oss att överväga.
Lobbyn är rymlig med en TV och även massor av sittplatser. Det fanns ett litet gymrum i källaren.
Vi hade en bekväm och bra vistelse med Lumen Hotel."

"It's located out and away from the tourist or shopping areas but there are many small restaurants nearby so if hotel quinine is nit fir you there are many other choices. Check in and we're quick, dedk staff being extremely efficient. One of three elevators was out if service during our 3 day stay with another failing fir about a day. Staff were extremely helpful during this time. Apart from its location it stands up to the VIP Hitel standards."

"設施：一進門就有一個非常好玩的小電梯，大家來了一定要試一下。
衞生：打掃得非常好，很乾凈。
環境：距離自由大道的Lv步行10分鐘左右，步行20分鐘可以到升降機，30分鐘內就可以到到海邊。基本上可以靠步行就可以把市中心逛完了。旁邊2分鐘的位置有便利店和葯店。
服務：服務給贊，最後一天不小心弄臟了床單，給前台的小哥説了以後詢問需要賠償多少錢，他説，不用擔心，這不是什麼問題，最後還安慰了我説，一切都OK的。最後我們去便利店買了東西送給他們表示感謝。很暖心，下次去了里斯本還會選擇這裏。早餐也不錯。推薦大家點他們的皇家蛋，絕絕子，一口一個，超級好吃。
對了，來了一定要出海看落日，絕了。氛圍感無敵！

"Friendly and helpful staff. Room had all that you would want - very clean. The 5th floor restaurant and breakfast room with city views was very nice, and the breakfast was good too. Location is excellent. The hotel is in a comfortable area with plenty of restaurants, close to the Edward VII park, two metro stations, and within walking distance of the tourist centre. There are two supermarkets within 50 metres of the hotel."

"酒店位置不在城裡，但是走路十分鐘有地鐵站可以到老城區時間不長，而且也因為不在城裡打車交通去機場之類的特別方便。酒店早餐都非常不錯種類豐富質量也可以而且服務特別好。SANA是葡萄牙當地的酒店連鎖，質量服務都蠻有保障的。酒店所在的位置就在飛機降落起飛的航網上，但房間裡邊隔音不錯，如果想看飛機拍飛機的話堪稱一絕。"

"The location is not that bad especially if you have bought the day travel pass as the metro station Anjos nearby but the closer entrance is closed on Sun. There is a supermarket nearby as well. The room is generally clean."

UUrban VoyagerWe had a great stay at Moon & Sun Hotel in Lisbon. If you’re looking for a centrally located hotel that’s perfect for exploring the city, this is an excellent choice. The location is ideal—within walking distance of major attractions, great restaurants, and public transport, making it easy to discover Lisbon without needing a Taxi/Uber/Bolt.
The rooms are modern, stylish, and spotlessly clean. While they are on the smaller side, they’re perfect for travelers who want a comfortable place to rest after a full day of sightseeing. If you’re planning to spend most of your time exploring the city rather than lounging in your room, this hotel offers great value for money.
The service was outstanding. The front desk staff spoke fluent English and provided excellent recommendations for places to visit and eat. They were also very accommodating—when I requested a different pillow for better comfort, they replaced it immediately, and when we asked for mint to be brought to our room, they did so at no extra charge. Small gestures like these really made us feel welcome.
Overall, Moon & Sun Hotel was exactly what we were looking for—clean, comfortable, and centrally located, with a high level of service. It’s a great option for couples or anyone who wants to explore Lisbon with ease while staying in a well-priced, stylish hotel. We would definitely stay here again!

- If you book a room with breakfast included and have an early flight on your departure day, consider purchasing breakfast separately. The hotel does not offer a refund for unused breakfasts, and in my case, they neither refunded nor provided any form of compensation. This policy, though minor for the hotel, can leave a negative impression, as a small gesture of goodwill would go a long way in enhancing guest satisfaction.
- The hotel does not provide bathrobes, which may be inconvenient for guests accustomed to using them after a shower.
- Nighttime temperatures can be quite low, so it is advisable to turn on the air conditioning in advance to ensure a comfortable sleep.
- The rooms are compact, making this hotel a better fit for solo travelers rather than couples or families.
- While it is rated as a four-star property, the breakfast selection is quite simple and limited. Guests can expect pastries, a small assortment of sliced meats and cheeses (1-2 types each), yogurt, toppings, scrambled eggs, ciabatta, a modest selection of sliced fruit, juice, and some alcoholic beverages.
Hotel Perk:
- Unlimited coffee is available in the lounge, which is a nice bonus for guests.
- The hotel is situated in a district neighboring the city center, offering convenient access. Guests can reach the embankment and historic center within a short walk.
- Upon my arrival on the first night of check-in, I received a welcome kit that included complimentary access to the in-room bar. I’ve attached a photo of the bar below for reference.

JJoyfulnekoI booked this hotel as my first and last day of stay in Lisbon as it has a direct metro line to Lisbon airport. It is also accessible to the famous Tram 28 and 15 minutes walking distance to downtown. The concierge and reception staffs were very welcoming and helpful during my stays. The minibar is well stocked and all beverages are complimentary. The bed is comfortably and toiletries provided were great!

SSalopian125The Masa Hotel and Spa is in an excellent location and easily reached by the metro station about 10 minutes walk away.
The room was exceptionally clean and the room had a mini bar, safe and was supplied with bath robes and disposable slippers. Also a litre bottle of water was a welcome addition.
In regards to the breakfast. The first morning was perfect and the selection was very good. However the second morning I went earlier and it is best described as a chaotic mess. There was a large party of travellers who all descended the dining room at the same time and there was simply too many in at the same time. Maybe somone should have staggered the amount allowed in at once and allowed people to get their breakfast choice in a relaxed fashion rather than it resembling feeding time at the zoo!
I stayed over the weekend the clocks went back and was reliably informed by reception staff that in Portugal the clocks went back on the Sunday night going into Monday which was proven to be completely inaccurate and could have caused problems for ongoing travel if they had been believed!
It must be mentioned that the major disadvantage of this hotel is that it lies directly under the flight path of Lisbon Airport and from early morning there are plane after plane coming very frequently into land. Even with the windows closed it's still very noticeable.
It's obviously not the hotels fault where it's situated, but if you want a peaceful stay then this hotel really isn't going to give you that.
The spa and swimming pool I can not comment on as never used. Neither did I use the dining room for an evening meal.
Despite the negative comments it is a lovely hotel simply spoiled by being under the flight path of the main airport.

Areas of improvements needed:
- No arrival instructions were provided, even when asked prior to arriving. This left us hanging outside the building as we had no access code to enter.
- Dirty dishes were left inside the dishwasher when we arrived

It has average facilities with questionable staff service, especially when it comes to front desk reception employees. In any case, pretty standard 3 stars hotel which accepts children in the same room as the parents - making the hotel suitable for families. Looking for a ironing board over 3 nights of stay was the downside, no irons available which was very disappointing. Front desk always stated they would deliver in the next morning, never came and it was rehersed - got the same excute from 2-3 different front desk employees. On the other hand the breakfast and swimming pool are good for what you pay for. Recommended for short stays only.

WWariyukiI won’t recommend this apartment though it is only less than 10 mins walk from the Martim Moniz metro station and the city centre.
The apartment is located at the back alley of some old buildings. There were a lot of homeless people and wanderers at both ends of the alleys. The most unacceptable thing was that the alley was stinky with the very bad smell of urine and garbage. Since the apartment is inside the alley that car cannot go inside, even we took Uber, we still need to walk 2-min from either end of the alley to the apartment.
Unfortunately we were assigned with a room on the ground level of the 4-storey apartment. To be exact, the room was slightly below ground level, meaning that we could see the feet of the people walking on the street through the 2 windows of our room. It was also a bit noisy when people talked on the street, parked their bicycle right at the windows of our room. Obviously we couldn’t open our windows or curtains, meaning that it was like staying in a room without windows. We have asked for a change of room. Since we were staying there for 7 nights, we also didn’t mind to change for only a few nights in the middle of the stay, however we were not provided with any option to change our room even though we booked this apartment 4 MONTHS ago (not the last minute customers).
Besides, the sound proofing of the apartment was bad. We could hear everyone talking outside. Since it’s the ground floor unit, there were more people passing by and going up to different floors and in and out the building, all sounds were quite annoying especially during the late night. Among the 7 nights, there were also 2 nights having some sorts of alarm in the mid nights for over 30 minutes. All these issues were very disturbing too.
Adding to it, the bed and pillows of the apartment were too hard and not comfortable to us. We didn’t have any good sleep unfortunately.
Nevertheless the interior of the apartment was fine, spacious and clean. Decoration was modern, daily house-keeping was also fine. There were aircon, washer and dryer, a basic coffee filter machines but not Nespresso coffee machine.
