"My mum was upset that the counter staff asked her whether she came from China and to which she answered we are from Singapore. Then the counter staff further queried whether she was originally from China. This question showed immense disrespect and was totally uncalled for. Its a great disappointment for staff of an international hotel to ask. The staff ought to be sent for re training if they are unaware that that there are Chinese race from Singapore and Southeast Asian countries. Food wise - limited choices. Despite this, hotel is undoubtedly very clean and well-located."

"Exceptional stay. Staff was very helpful and supportive. Centrally located, new and very clean, attentive to the details. Room has everything needed for perfect stay in Istanbul. I wish I had more time to stay there. Breakfast was tasty and has option for everyone. Highly recommend it and I will choose it for my next visits to Istanbul."

"I stayed here because I had a layover flight en route to London from Hong. The room is clean, very basic but not comfortable. There was complimentary local snacks and bottled water provided in the room. The decor was average, you can tell someone has attempted to put some thought into the decor, it's not to my taste. The chain lock was broken on the door, so I had to put a chair by the door, there was a broken door on the sink unit. I ordered pizza and it wasn't edible - it looked like it was a frozen pizza that had been reheated at least two times. I'm all for recycling/re-using but honestly I was the third customer to use the key card holder - the crude crossing out of the previous use was a bit crass. I know you get what you pay for and I didn't pay a lot for this room, but honestly they could do better. I would only recommend staying if you're desperate. I wouldn't choose this hotel again, I would probably spend a bit more to experience more comfort, security and hospitality."

"Very centrally located hotel and surrounded with interesting amenities and especially the popular Tram line T1 and biggest Train and Metro stations. The hotel staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful offering advice and cautions of the locals culture. The Deluxe room is spacious but the furnishings are rather antique designs. The highlights very worthy to mention is the toilet fittings…. All metal parts are golden colour plated….. giving you the feeling that you are in the Sultan’s palace toilet! Really an eye opener for a 4 star hotel."

"This hotel delivers solidly on all essential needs: rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff provides attentive, friendly service. Location-wise, it's conveniently close to both the airport and metro station, though the steep uphill walk from the metro station can be strenuous with heavy luggage. I loved the generous lobby and lounge space, perfect for spreading out with a laptop and coffees if you need to work."

"Utmärkt frukost, färskpressad apelsinjuice och läckra croissanter, ett brett utbud av snacks och frukter, mycket bekvämt läge, te och kaffe på rummet, stora rum, mycket bekväma sängar och kuddar, stort badrum. Av minusen - området runt utomhuspoolen är smutsigt, duvor flyger och skiter, men ingen städar, utcheckning är kl 11.00, lite tidigt, men de låter dig stanna i poolen, det finns ett spa här och du kan sedan ta en hel dusch. Sammantaget är hotellet utmärkt, du kan komma tillbaka hit."

"The best advantage of this hotel is its location, next to restaurants and bars. Heart of Istanbul. However, for those who value peace and quiet, this can also be a drawback, as in the evenings there is a lot of music and noise, especially noticeable on the first floor (it may be quieter on higher levels). The hotel itself is fairly clean, well-kept, and relatively new compared to many others in Istanbul. Breakfast is definitely worth including – it’s excellent, with a wide variety of fresh options, Turkish tea and coffee, and even made-to-order omelets. Staff don’t rush you out when breakfast time ends, and they keep replenishing dishes, which is a big plus. On the downside, the reception could be friendlier, and the staff’s English level is quite limited. For example, when we requested extra bedding, room service brought us fries instead. Additionally, in September the rooms were cold, and unfortunately only the air conditioning worked – the heating did not. The restaurant downstairs, Pera 77, offers live music in the evenings. In our case, the singer was late, performed only a few songs, then took a break and never returned before we left. Food quality was mixed: the soup and cheese platter were good, but the steak was tasteless and the fries soggy. Overall, the hotel is a good option if you want a lively location with outstanding breakfasts, but be aware of noise and some service limitations."
