A great place for family reunions. The place sleeps 20. You can get a Pagosa Lakes Property Owners Association fishing permit and fish right off the private dock or go out on a kayak or canoe to fish the rest of the lake or other lakes that allow fishing in the PLPOA area. The lakes are no gas lakes, so paddling and electric motors only. There is no swimming allowed in the lake. The house is not a commercial venue. It is located in a residential neighborhood, so no outside live music and no evening/night outdoor activities. A quiet relaxing or fun energetic vacation (your choice) awaits you at Casa Laguna. This spacious home provides a large open great room layout with kitchen, dining, and three living areas with wood stoves. There is a large deck with BBQ on the lakeside adjacent to these areas for cooking, dining, entertaining, or just taking in the view.Main part of the house1. For the elderly/hard to get around, there are two master suites with kings at ground floor level of the main part of the house, one bath is handicap accessible. This level is also the main part of the house with living, dining, kitchen, main entry and lakefront deck. It as accessible by a ramp in seasons with no snow.2. Upstairs are two more king bedrooms with adjacent bathrooms, that level 3 will use also. You can get to the bathrooms without having to go through the bedrooms. This area also has a mezzanine game room with the pool table that has great views.3. Level 3 has 2 small bedrooms with a queen bed each. You get to via a spiral stair and the occupants will share bathrooms with those on level 2.4. (Back to ground level) There is a queen sleeper sofa in the TV room (that would share a bath with one of the master suites (see #1)The street side area "Casita" (it is all connected)5. Up 3/4 flight of stairs are 2 queen bedrooms with a shared bath. This area also has its own separate kitchen, and living area with wood burning stove, couch and large screen TV. There is also a loft with a foosball table.6. Below this area, down ¼ flight of stairs, is another king master suite.There are also 2 portable fold out twin bedsThere are two separate kitchens, one is built for entertaining with two large refrigerators, two stoves, two microwaves, and two dishwashers. The other has a refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher. The large kitchen has a serving bar that opens onto the main floor dining and living areas. There is a complete range of cooking utensils and appliances, as well as, place settings for up to twenty.The house has its own dock for boats and great fishing. Pagosa Lakes fishing permits are available at the recreation center or the Pagosa Lakes Property Owners Association Office for a small fee. Hatcher Lake includes trout, perch, bass and other species.The PLPOA Rec Center has wonderful workout facilities, swimming pool, racquetball courts, etc which is available to guests for a small fee. Even when dining, everyone can be in earshot of one another at adjacent tables of six persons each. For breakfast there is a bar on one of the center islands which seats eight. There is plenty of room in the huge kitchen for several people to be involved in meal preparation. This nearly 5,000 square foot luxury home is situated at 7500 feet ASL and set amongst towering ponderosa pines with a view of Village Lake in the Pagosa Lakes region of Pagosa Springs, Colorado. It is mostly on one floor but does have a game-room loft with full bath overlooking the central gathering area. While our home is spacious, Archuleta County restricts us to 10 people sleeping overnight in our home. Our covered back porch has a charcoal smoker grill as well as a gas grill, table and numerous chairs with the shade of many Ponderosa Pines, looking to a green belt which often has deer, fox and elk wandering past. About 100 yards away is a 166 acre open green space almost guaranteed to have elk or mule deer grazing in the cool of the evening--and offering an unsurpassed view of the towering North and East face of the Continental Divide. The home is within a mile of popular restaurants and the largest grocery store, City Market. It is about 24 miles from Wolf Creek Pass ski area, seven miles from the deepest hot springs in the world and only a few miles from national forest trails. Fishing on Village Lake, about 300 yards from the house, is often very good. There is a three-mile paved walking/jogging/bike trail which passes along the front boundary of the house. Available during the non-snow months are two Trek tandem bikes, a trail bike and a road bike for you to enjoy on this circle bike and walking trail. This bike and walking trail also connects to other parts of Pagosa Springs if you want to extend your ride or walk.If you are vacationing but still need to keep up with your business, we have a dedicated office with a spacious desk, shredder and printer. (The printer is available to you at a small additional cost for ink and paper). We have excellent internet for streaming for your business purposes. Our home has four bedrooms plus a huge loft with foosball and shuffle board, a TV and Ping Pong room over the garage, 3 1/2 baths, a huge kitchen/'living area with all updated appliances and a totally outfitted chef's kitchen. There is dining space for 6 at two tables close to one another and with views of Village Lake. There is also a bar which seats eight persons. You will enjoy the stone fireplace (with a 70 inch smart TV over the fireplace) in the central gathering area as well as a fireplace in the oversized master bedroom. The master bedroom also has double vanities, a jetted tub and separate large walk-in shower area. It is separated from the other three bedrooms and offers privacy and quiet. The home is heated by radiant in-floor heat, and at 7500 feet above sea level, it does not generally need air conditioning. There is a FROG room (finished room over garage) with TV and ping pong, All three garage spaces are available for your vehicles. We also have a Corn-hole game available and a fenced back yard (split rail fence with heavy gauge wire). Our home offers wireless internet throughout, five TVs with Dish, Netflix, Amazon Prime and otters streaming channels, all in a warm atmosphere designed for an extended family gathering.
