"The hotel is at a great location. It’s near to the marathon start & finish lines. Close to cinema & musical venues. Near to trains as well. Amenities is basic: no slippers, bathrobes or tea bags. We needed to borrow a kettle to boil hot water. Room was very expensive as we stayed during the marathon dates. Since we are running the marathon, we have no choice but to pay the high room charges."

"If you need to be close to the Airport this hotel is perfect, very modern, good food, has a great pool and Gym, Starbucks and free shuttle bus to the airport. It's a fair bit away from the city but you can take the blue line all the way in to the city centre.
It's a quiet area but a plenty of places to get food nearby. The only negative from my own perspective would be no free laundry room and the room cleaning seemed to be at completely random times.
Other than that I'd happily use this hotel again when in Chicago."

"We booked a room that unfortunately was for the wrong dates through a third party. We were told by the third party that they would refund us but that the hotel had to release our reservation. We called them immediately after realizing the dates were wrong which was within an hour. The reservation was for two days from then. The hotel said they would not cancel it. They charged us almost $600 for a room we did not stay in and called in advance to explain our situation. They also did not allow for us to change the days to the days we were actually looking for. While the hotel is lovely and the staff was pleasant even delivering the bad news I won’t be looking to book with them again."

"Great location for my business trip. The hotel has free shuttle bus every 30 mins to and from O'Hare Airport so very convenient. It has all the facilities and services I needed so satisfied in general. Foods in the restaurant were delicious, waitress Viktoriia was nice. Just a couple of notes:
1. If the hotel could post the airport shuttle bus schedule and exact pickup location details on their web site it would be much easier for first time visitors;
2. In the room 526 I stayed, the basin in the bathroom appeared to be partially clogged and draining very slowly. Hope they can fix it before the next guest complains."

"The staff were amazing so I want everyone to know that part. This is not the front desk staff. Now on to the bad…. The rooms are not clean. I dislike having to say this. But it’s facts. When walking in the room- first thing we notice is a huge pretty fresh stain on floor that screamed puke. It was attempted to be cleaned but the orange stain was disgusting. The windows were smudged. The glass tables had finger prints all over. The walls had dried splashes of who knows what and edges around the room at knee high were full of dust. Soap was left in shower and the floor when the door was opened and closed was disgusting. No liners in garbage cans.
The front desk was very understanding and switched us rooms. Problem was it was a downsize. We lived through it but will all the hotels we have stayed in while in the city - (dozens- as we are only 2 hours away and like to stay at different places) this one unfortunately we will not be returning too."

GGenesisSilvaI stayed one night at the Residence Inn Chicago Downtown Magnificent Mile and had a great experience! The location is absolutely perfect—just steps away from Michigan Avenue, shops, and great restaurants.
The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed, including a full kitchen, which is a huge plus. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated how quiet the room was despite being in such a central area.
The front desk staff were friendly and efficient during check-in and checkout. Breakfast in the morning was fresh and had a good variety of options.
Overall, it was a short but very pleasant stay. I would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay in downtown Chicago!

Loved our stay at L7 Lotte Chicago! Perfect location, super clean, and the bed was incredibly comfy. The Crave Corner with all-day coffee, hot chocolate, and evening popcorn was such a thoughtful touch. A bit pricey, but truly worth it for the comfort and experience.

Service from staff were friendly, felt welcomed.
Property rooms are dated, old carpet, stains on walls and dirt on bathroom floor.
Bed and pillows were comfortable.
For the price I paid, I find it was a reasonable option for an overnight stay at Chicago.

Service: 4/5
The Night staff was awesome, hospitality was IMPECCABLE! From the receptionist , bellhop helper, security, you name it! I wish I could remember their names but the receptionist was a young African American male about early-mid 20s! The morning crew and afternoon crew need some pointers from the night shift staff because they need some work.
Rooms: 3/5
Our room had 2 full size beds, they were nice and spacious for all 4 of us (3 adults & 1 child). No microwave was an inconvenience but it wasn’t too big of a deal since our short was stay.
Overall I would rate our stay a 4/5 (Would have been 3.5/5 had it not been for the service we experienced when checking in.

AAnonym användareThe hotel’s best value lies in the location — 3 min to Starbucks Roastery, ~ 15/20 min walk to the magnificent mile, and close to subway stations.
But lacking certain facilities which I consider necessary to ensure safety of solo travellers (access to different floors only by room keys, and a safe). Also the bed in the room was close to the door, so I could hear the elevator bells and people’s conversations in hallway.
For housekeeping, overall the room was well-cleaned. However, the housekeeping staff still knocked on the door trying to come in the room, when I hung up the “Do Not Disturb” sign.
Overall, good hotel for a short stay.

GGästanvändareBe careful, there is a hidden charge ”A $25 daily urban experience fee will be charged to each room” at this hotel Fairmont Chicago - Millennium Park. The breakfast charge is very tricky if you have prepaid. 1st you have to argue that you have prepaid for the breakfast for each person in the room. 2nd you need to ask and confirm with the front desk how much the credit is for the breakfast you have paid (my case $38 for each person daily, covers taxes and tips). It is not buffet breakfast, you need to pay extra when you check out if you have ordered more than your credit for the breakfast. When I asked that if I missed one breakfast, can I use the extra credit for the next day. The answers were different from different staff members.
A very expensive hotel focusing on big conferences, there are no microwave oven, empty refrigerator (you can request) in the room and swimming pool. Do not lift up the drinks and snacks in the box on the table (there are sensors underneath) unless you don't mind to be charged. The existing refrigerator is full of drinks. I was afraid to touch it, even the concierge didn't know how to open the refrigerator lock. But the coffee and tea are free. There is a person (not housekeeper) comes to the room to check and refill all the drinks and snacks including the free ones.
We booked our room many weeks earlier, after we checked in I realized that the room prices dropped comparing our original prices, maybe not enough conference people attending.

In my whole life I barely give 2 stars feedback to property, honestly I just wanna give 1 star feedback but the residents are friendly and nice that why I add one more star for them. The location is really convenient, room setting is super clean and organization. However, the black old lady who works at front desk is really mean and rude, she tried to bully me when I was checking in. Her service attitude likes she's guest I'm staff, and I owed her money, too. After check in my mood is really down, so I can't get any reason is why I pay almost $400 a night come here to get treatment like that. If you come to check Chicago I won't recommend this hotel for, or if you like the hotel but don't come to check in around 11am-1pm on Saturday！

Hotel made me par 285 for something I didn’t have time to use which was tickets to attractions and that fee included a fee for checking out. ..49 a room for coupons snd 65 per room check out fee. Our car was too tall for the 85.00 a night parking but the garage at the corner only charged 58.00 a night. I wouldn’t recommend driving downtown Chicago unless you like being stressed out. I’m asking trip.com to reimburse the difference between the 117 and 185.
