The property itself consists of 10 acres, 2 of which is a semi-private championship bass finishing pond (There have been 10 pound bass pulled out of there!). The property is gated at the entrance and surrounded by hundreds of acres of woods and farmland. The only neighbors are across the pond. The pond is down the hill down a flagstone path where you will find a gravel fishing beach, picnic table and peddle boat. Right outside of the house is firepit with supplied wood, picnic table, 2 hammocks and around the campfire comfortable seating. We just completed the construction of a 16x32 inground, saltwater swimming pool complete with pool heater. A flagstone path from the house will lead you to hours of family fun around the pool. There are 2 picnic tables at the pool as well as 4 lounge chairs and benches. The home itself is a 4 bedroom 3.5 bath plus 2 car garage. One of the garage spots is used for a commercial workout machine which you have full access to, the other spot is available for parking. The home is a modern, open living floorplan. Kitchen, dining and living rooms are all together so that your group can enjoy each others company to the fullest during your stay. The master bedroom is on one side of the house and 3 more bedrooms on the other side of the house. The master bathroom has a 2 person traditional sauna. The kitchen is equipped with a high end Ilve range for that chef in your group with gas cooking, griddle and double oven. Huge quartz countertop with 4 counter stools are there for your entertaining. The dining table is 120" and seats 10. The home is appointed with everything that you could possibly need for comfortable stay. Just bring food, coffee and a bottle of wine and we'll handle the rest! * A note about the heated pool in off season * Typically between Nov-April each year the pool is either not heated or the pool heater could be running but can fail to adequitely heat when the weather gets too cold. The pool heater does not work when it gets below 45° at night and takes up to 48 hours to catch back up after a cold zap. We do not guarantee that a heated pool will be available during these months. The master bedroom and the basement both have views of the water from the rooms. There are patios on the basement and the main level that overlook the water.There is also a set of washer / dryers on the main level as well as another set in the basement allowing you to keep up with the laundry on big trips.GUEST ACCESS:Guests have access to everything aside from the cleaning / owner closet.Check in / check out is keyless locks with door codes The guests are able to do everything on their own.We added 4 kayaks that the guest can rent for the duration of their stay for $100 flat fee for all 4.OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:As with some lake houses, the driveway is steep. However, we have added a parking lot at street level that is perfectly level and can accommodate multiple trucks and boats as well as other vehicles. The upper parking lot has stairs down to the house that allow easy access. There is also a two car garage that is accessible if needed.We have installed a Level 2 EV Charger. It is a J1772 connector (non Tesla) and charges at 50A. We also provide the adapter to charge Teslas. You’ll find every inch of this property amazing and exploring the cove in the canoe that we have provided is a MUST DO while you are here. There are very few steps to the double-slip, private dock. (You are welcome to bring a boat). The lake level consists of the master bedroom and bathroom, as well as a second den with a daybed w trundle and a crib for those with an infant or toddler. The entry/ main level is perfect for entertaining and consists of the kitchen and dining area, the pantry, a half bath, second porch for grilling and an inglenook that is cozy regardless of the time of year. The inglenook has a fireplace and entertainment center, along with views of the lake and hillside. Above the entry level, is another level consisting of two guestrooms that have stunning views of the lake, along with another bathroom. From there, you will find a loft / bunkroom consisting of 4 twin beds and an entertainment system perfect for adult seclusion or for children. A COMMUNITY pool sits on top of the property with breathtaking views of the lake. Children and pets are certainly welcome , but must be well-trained and disciplined as the home is located on a rock bluff.
