The upstairs loft area sleeps six there are three daybeds with trundles and there is an additional pull out couch in the living room which features an open floor plan and a 60” Vizio smart TV.From the moment you walk in the front door you will notice the soaring exposed beam ceiling and completely open floor plan with 10 foot custom kitchen island with seating for six, and additional table and chairs with seating up to 6. The kitchen is a cooks dream, all brand new appliances and utensils it is fully stocked with all essentials and there is plenty of room to move around. It is open to the living room and can easily accommodate family and friends. There is a very private covered deck that looks into the woods with an outdoor table with seating for six a ceiling fan and gas grill.The basement has a large playroom for the kids with a 60" Vizio smart TV, leather sectional couch, hanging chairs and professional size air hockey table. There is also a large laundry room with new full sized washer and dryer. Everything in the home is brand new including very comfortable beds, bedding, furniture, all appliances, utensils, cookware and TVs so that you may have a trouble free and comfortable stay in our home. Amazing location located 1/2 mile from Hurricane Marina and all they have to offer from boat rentals, supplies and seasonal weekend restaurant. Floating Mill campground and day use beach area are just around the corner from our home. There are multiple hiking locations within a short drive. The cabin is just one hour from Nashville, and just 2 hours from Knoxville and Chattanooga. There are so many things to explore and enjoy in the area from boating, to canoeing, kayaking, tubing, and fly fishing on the Caney Fork River. You will truly get to explore nature and unplug! We would love to share our beautiful home on Center Hill Lake with you and your family! It is very unique in that it is one of only a few homes on the lake located on the water. You can, literally, back your boat from the house right into the water. While spending the day out boating you can drop off anyone who needs a rest at the house and then pick them back up with ease. It is a 50 yard paved walk to the boat launch!The home is two levels. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, but has beds for 10. The upstairs has a covered back porch for easy parking and handicap access. You can actually access both the upstairs of the home and the downstairs without using stairs if needed. The kitchen has modern appliances and is fully stocked with dishes, utensils and amenities, including microwave, blender, coffer maker, crock pot and griddle. There is a large dining room table and smaller side table if you need more seating.We now have internet with 250 Mbps WiFi if you need to connect remotely!The upstairs family room has a 50 inch HD TV and DVD player with DISH cable, including ESPN. There is plenty of seating for large groups and a selection of DVDs and board games for the family.There is spacious front porch that runs the length of the home and is accessed through two separate, beautiful sliding doors. There is a large amount of outdoor seating for watching all the wildlife and a large gas grill.On the lower level you can play games on the ping pong table or separate pool table, or watch games on the 50 inch HD TV in the downstairs family room! There is also a laundry room with washer and dryer.Have fun in the large front yard playing ball or picking apples from one of the 3 apple trees that bear fruit in mid to late summer. It is just under an hour to Nashville International Airport and is a very easy drive. We are 15 minutes from the town of Cookeville, where Tennessee Tech is located. There is every restaurant you can imagine, along with movie theaters, bowling alley and roller skating in case you have a rainy day. We are less than 10 minutes by car from Cookeville Boat Dock Marina. By boat, we are less than 10 minutes from Hurricane Marina and are located right at the entrance to Mine Like Creek - famous for its wakeboarding and water skiing conditions. Enjoy listening to live music just across the water at Fishlipz. There is also a boat ramp on the property, but I would not suggest larger boats or trailers to attempt to launch. Short walk down the hill to a gravel launch with plenty of area for desired activities, fishing, launching kayaks and small fishing boats.The lake house is located directly across the lake from Fishlipz restaurant and Pates Ford Marina. The lake house features 3 bedrooms and two full baths with walk in showers. The home home also features an office space with a Queen upgraded gel memory foam mattress. In the summertime you can sit on the deck at night and listen to the live music across the lake. If you wanted to enjoy the music, great food and dancing in person, it is a short 25-minute drive to the marina by vehicle. There is also two kayaks and one large canoe for anyone to use while staying at the lake house. They are located under the deck of the lake house. We just ask that you leave them how you found them. You will want to bring your own life jackets if using the kayaks or canoe. If you wanted to squeeze three more people in on top of the eight. There is also a double height self-inflatable queen and twin air mattress we just ask that these be used for children and that sheets are placed on them for sleeping. Again, we just ask that you leave them how you found them.There are lots of waterfalls in the area and plenty of beautiful hiking trails. The lake house is about 11.5 miles from Burgess Falls State Park, 4 miles from Rock Island State Park and about 30 minutes from Greeter Falls, and about 25 minutes to Cummins Falls State Park.There is also a golf at Smithville Golf Club and Sparta Golf Country Club both about 10-15 minutes away.Pates Ford Marina also has boats for rent but call ahead of time to reserve. If you have a boat that you would like to bring there is plenty of room to park right in front of the lake house. We have added gravel to expand parking. We have a larger boat, and we just launch from Pates Ford Marina. Everyone is super friendly!!Please be respectful and conscientious in regard to noise and conduct. SONOS sound system keeps music streaming throughout the home, and wireless internet keeps you connected in every room.
