Welcome, we are thrilled you are taking time to visit our site. This remote 2.8 acre property sits on over 300 ft of White River bank frontage. Our Bunkhouse has a nice covered deck that is perched above the White River with a bird’s eye view. There is a smaller pavilion below with more seating. The Bunkhouse has three bedrooms with sleeping arrangements for 14 guest. A fully stocked large kitchen, seating for 10 plus TV trays to dine. On the second upstairs floor there is a living room, kitchen, two bedrooms, and a bathroom. On the lower floor there is a refrigerator, coffee maker, full size bed, and a single bed. The bottom floor also has its own bathroom with shower and outstanding views of the river. In addition, on the bottom level there is a game room with pool table, big screen TV, poker table, and lots of seating. This area has two garage doors that can be opened while guest are watching TV and enjoying games.Our unique grassy landing is located right on the river bank just a few steps from the Bunkhouse. By a few steps, we mean a staircase leads down to the landing that gently slopes to the water’s edge. The landing has a pavilion, wood swings, a boat ramp, grilling area and another fire pit. If someone in your party doesn’t maneuver stairs well, it is possible to drive them to and from the landing below in your own 4X4 or side-by-side. The Bullshoals boat dock is a great place to rent bass boats or house boats as well. Numerous antique stores can be found within a 50 mile radius. Mountain View is known for their down home country charm, their pickin’ & grinnin’ on the square, and Blanchard Springs Caverns, it’s all about 1.5 hours away. Canoeing the famous Buffalo National River at the Point or hiking their well marked trails is a favorite of many local residents. That is about a 40 minute drive. By boat the mouth of the Buffalo River opens up into the White River only a few short miles below King’s Landing. If your looking for more of a challenging hiking situation the Buffalo National Wilderness area has 30,000+ acres, and is only a short distance away. We recommend only experienced hikers and hunters tackle that area because of its rugged terrain. The world famous Branson, MO is also within 1.5 hours with music shows, amusement parks, go-karts, mini-golf, and lots of shopping available. We have the room for your next large gathering. We are thrilled you are taking time to view our rental. It is truly one of a kind on this part of the river. This remote 2.8 acre property sits on 300 ft of White River bank frontage. It has a large master bedroom with a king size bed. Joining the master is a large master bath with a jacuzzi tub and a separate shower. This master also has an outstanding view of the river, and opens up onto the gorgeous back porch that sprawls across the entire length of the back of the lodge. The porch can seat 10 or more guest easily, and is a great place to gather. There is a second bedroom with a bed and one single. The lodge has a guest bathroom with its own tub/shower combo. We have two dining tables that will easily seat 8 or more guest. The living area and kitchen have beautiful views of the river and access to the back porch. The living room has a couch, big screen TV, two leather recliners, and two swivel chairs. The kitchen has plenty of room to cook with all new appliances. We call it the “Lodge” because of its stunning hickory floors, and breathtaking views of the White River. There is a charcoal grill, a gas grill, and cook box with a few cast iron pots/skillets for guest staying at the lodge to use. A fire pit is also close by. In the backyard guest will find the river bank just a few steps from the back porch. By a few steps we mean a staircase leads down to the water’s edge. A private dock and easy access to a private ramp nearby makes accessing the water next to unbeatable. Store your boat in the stall free of charge during the entire stay. If you don’t have your own boat, or aren’t experienced on the river, we recommend hiring a guide for a day of fishing on the river; all of which we can help arrange through our numerous connections to the area. Make it easy by having the guide pick you up at the adjoining dock while having that last cup of coffee before making memories.While relaxing off the water, it’s common to see wild turkey, whitetail deer, bald eagles, blue heron, geese, and other wildlife both on the river and in the spring-fed pasture. Canoeing and kayaking are popular activities along the river as well. Make the trip even easier by organizing a float from upstream with our place as your final destination.If lake-fishing is more your style, Bull Shoals Lake is only a 15 minute drive away where you can rent boats for fun or sport at the local marina. The lake is home to large-mouth bass, white bass, crappie, and walleye. If you’re here for the lake, our home is setup with external outlets for charging and don’t forget the security of being behind a privacy gate on a dead end road.Whether you are a group of hard core anglers focused on fooling world-class trout or groups of families and friends looking for fellowship in the outdoors, this place is set up for both.
