My first review on Trip and I don't usually bother to write reviews - shows you how much the hotel impressed me. We stayed for 1 night in Capella Sydney as a family of 3. The hotel facilities were absolutely amazing, decor was gorgeous and food options at Aperture and Brasserie were awesome. However, I won't dwell on these too much as I'm sure when you booked into a Capella brand hotel, you will already assume this as a given right? One highlight in terms of facilities though, was The Living Room, which is assessible to all guests staying in the hotel. It had beverages, snacks, comfy sofas and 6 star service. We spent so much time there chilling with our son and in the end it really became ”our living room”. Enough of that, let me move on to the service which blew our minds. I'll give you a few examples and hopefully you can see why I feel it would be criminal for me not to write a review. 1. On arrival when we got out of our car and the porters were helping us with our luggage, somehow they addressed me by name. Maybe it's because they saw I had a 2 year old and I was the only guest checking in that day with a small child. Still, I was super impressed. I've only experienced this previously at Aman hotels. 2. Upon checking in, Sophie (I hope I got your name right!) was super helpful and cheerful. When she saw my young son, she also proactively asked if we needed a later check out and if our son needed to nap. She immediately offered to give us 2pm late check out. However, having told her our son actually takes his nap at 2pm, she told us to come back and check with the front desk the next day and they can extend it till 4pm. Remember, I didn't request this, she did this completely out of her own initiative. 3. We didn't book dinner and Sophie referred us to Madiha of the Cultural team. Madiha took note of all our requirements, including the need for the restaurant to be 2 year old friendly, and within 15 mins emailed me a full list of restaurants and their menus for me to choose from while she also served us drinks and snacks at the living room. We eventually picked an Italian restaurant and she made the reservation for us. Fyi, it was scrumptious. 4. After breakfast, we were walking around the lobby and my son walked past the cakeshop and saw a raspberry tart. He really wanted it but I told him we just had breakfast. Ton (?)(I hope I got your name right, the Thai gentleman with a love for cars), the manager came up and said ”you can have the tart for free! It's on the house!”. I was stunned. He also spent so much time talking to my son and showing him pictures of cars, unbelievable. Shout out also to Matthew (uncle Hao Jun) for being so warm and hospitable to us. Honestly we were feeling so sad leaving the hotel as everyone felt like friends and family to us. One thing is for sure though, we will be back. Absolutely flawless service, kudos to the Capella Sydney team!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel during my visit to Sydney. The room was very clean and well-maintained, making it a comfortable and pleasant experience. The location is excellent, just outside Wynyard Station, which made getting around the city super convenient. It’s also within 10–20 minutes walking distance to many popular areas like the Sydney shopping district, Darling Harbour, Barangaroo, The Rocks, and more. What really stood out to me was the modern high-tech features throughout the hotel. The lift system is not the usual kind, you scan your access card outside, and it automatically assigns you a lift to your room’s floor or the amenities level. There are no buttons inside the lift, which felt very secure and futuristic. Inside the room, both the bedroom and bathroom have built-in speakers, so I could enjoy my favourite songs throughout the space, such a great touch! They even provide an iPad in the room that lets you contact reception, access useful hotel info, and even browse suggested playlists if you don’t have one of your own. I really appreciated the attention to detail. Another highlight was the variety of pillows available. I chose the contour pillow and slept incredibly well. One thing to note: toothbrushes are not provided for free, there’s an extra charge if you need one. But it’s not a big deal for me since I always bring my own. Just a heads-up if you’re planning to stay here , remember to pack your toothbrush! The only small downside was the bathroom design, although there’s a glass door, some water did spill out after showering. But this was minor and didn’t affect my overall impression. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a clean, modern, and tech-savvy place to stay in Sydney!

One metro station (Mascot) from domestic airport. This apartment is only 5 min-walk from the Mascot metro stn and the vicinity has many restaurants (mainly Eastern) and supermarkets or pharmacy. Very new cozy spacious and moden apartment with alp kinds of necessary amenities as one's home. Actual payment has to be made at the reception although preauthorisation of my credit card had been made upon booking online. Extra fees for credit cards will be charged and cash is acceptable only to the limit AUD100. So at the end I paid hybrid to minimise the extra charges for credit card. I think this apartment should have prepared online prepayment to avoid the hassle. We could hear all the noise of airplanes inside our room, but not much a problem for us since we oniy stayed one night and noise was much reduced after shutting the door and window. Overall a very cozy stay.

Everything is good about this hotel , location staffs was friendly and helpful , location is near everything  Opera House , st Mary’s , David  jones , the  fast was the best -and hood quality food ! The room was bigger than any other 5 star and sooo clean comfy and use very good quality toiletries

We arrived at the hotel in the early afternoon, but due to a delay, check-in was not possible until 6pm. What impressed us was that shortly after we finally entered our room, the manager called our room personally to apologise and offered a generous discount for that night’s stay. This level of professionalism and accountability is highly commendable. The majority of the staff we encountered were polite, greeted us warmly and offered professional smiles throughout our stay. However, there is definite room for improvement in the service. When our car pulled up, there were several staff members standing at the entrance, yet no one offered any assistance with check-in or check-out, nor did anyone help with our luggage. This was particularly disappointing for a family travelling with young children. The hotel would benefit from strengthening its service awareness and training in this area. Unfortunately, during our stay, the room attendant accidentally broke our newly purchased facial cleanser while cleaning the room. They simply wrapped it in a towel and left it on the bathroom counter without any note of apology. While we did not make a fuss about it, it did reflect a lack of attention to guest experience and professionalism that could be improved. Overall, we were still very satisfied with the hotel, particularly its excellent location and the warm, friendly service from the lobby staff. We would happily return on our next visit to Sydney.

We chose this hotel because of its location close to the cruise terminal. Check in and check out were smooth, breakfast was very adequate. Where our stay fell down was room service, who took 70 minutes to bring 2 smoothies to the room. While we were compensated being repeatedly told the food was ”on its way” when it clearly wasn't was annoying and frustrating. Overall a good stay that could easily have been much better

In short, Pullman Hyde Park Sydney is a great hotel with a gym and pool that offer good views. The rooms are clean, and the location is perfect for accessing all the famous tourist spots. We stayed for 5 nights at Pullman Hyde Park Sydney in mid-May. We arrived at the hotel around 10 AM, which was earlier than the scheduled check-in time. We requested an early check-in at the concierge; however, we were informed that no rooms were available until 1 PM. This was understandable, given our early arrival. While waiting, we appreciated the water dispenser and snacks available for guests. One downside was that the hotel had only three lifts, which were insufficient for the number of guests. One lift even broke down, and the other two were quite slow. We booked a Superior King Room with a Hyde Park view, which was lovely. The room was clean, with no odors or stains. However, our first room was missing disposable slippers and had a broken phone. The staff quickly sent a technician and arranged for us to move to a higher floor with a functioning phone. They were responsive, but we had to move our luggage ourselves, as they were unable to assist with that. (It was around 6pm so they may be short-staffed at that moment.) We spent some time at the gym, but unfortunately, the drinking water ran out around 6 PM. We called the concierge to have it replenished, but no one arrived by the time we left. The pool was decent, and there was also a jacuzzi. However, the jacuzzi was located right next to the gym and in front of the glass entrance, so anyone coming out of the elevator could see you enjoying it, which may or may not be a concern for some guests. A highlight was running on the treadmill while enjoying the stunning sunset over the city skyline—it was spectacular. The location was fantastic! The major bus stops were just a 6-minute walk away, providing easy access to Bondi Beach, Central Station, and Darling Harbour .etc. It was also only a 15-20 minute walk to the harbour, which made exploring the area very convenient. Overall, while I believe there are cheaper options with similar location advantages, the cleanliness at Pullman Hyde Park was notably better than those alternatives.

The hotel ticks a lot of boxes, clean modern rooms, pool and steam room, and in the best location, very central over looking the beach. The hotel has just had a refurbishment, very tidy with a good bar and restaurant on the ground floor. Only slight negative, front dest - check in could be better and a bit more friendly. If you want to stay in Manly, this hotel is your best choice, the other main hotel is way down at the end of the beach.

Room is spacious, services r good, gym too small, the biggest problem is the noise insulation is really bad, its so noisy, u can hear cars passing by, all kind of noises are there, next door, or people walking on corridor, they must improve this. Its so disturbing!

Very nice view from our room widows. There are full of different types restaurants on the ground floor. But If you close the window, the sound proof is excellent which I typically want to recommend. Stuffs are friendly and helpful, willing to give you recommendations if you are first-time visitors. They even wrote a welcome card. They have a ballroom here just opposite the reception, holding different personal events every night. I like the vibe which means it's popular place and safe. The hotel is friendly to those who travel with dogs. They have special bed and food for dogs. But we didn't need it and the dog net door barked very early in the morning. We were OK with it. At the other aspect, the hotel goes too much. The breakfast is allllll for vegetarians. Yes, all. As a guest, you are left with no choice. This is the only point that I particularly hate. Be whatever you like, just don't push others to do the something, especially when you are running a business.
