"My first stay at HUALUXE Hotel Leshan was beyond expectations! From the warm reception by Mr. Hu at the front desk, who kindly upgraded us to a room with a minibar, the accommodation was exceptionally quiet—perfect for families with kids. The breakfast spread was a delightful surprise, featuring abundant local Leshan specialties like tofu brain, ka bing (stuffed buns), and both spicy/non-spicy boboji (skewered dishes). A special touch came from Ms. Lucky Mu Jin, who thoughtfully gave our child bread and yogurt. Access to the gym and swimming pool with room card registration was seamless, and the facilities were impeccably clean and well-managed. Every detail reflected genuine care, making this stay highly recommendable!"

"It is a bit run down but it suits your needs. I was on the 4th floor and didn't find it that nice in the sense that a mosquito still flew in and bit me during the night (you could hear it in the room). And because there's no solid wall separating you from the living room (there's just a shelf), there wasn't any way to effectively shut the mosquito out. The night porridge also came with a piece of hair in it so from that point on, I stopped asking for the nighttime porridge.
The staff are not that nice and are actually quite rude. For example, the lady who made my milk tea and most of the front-desk staff with the exception of one. I have to shout out the shuttle driver; he was so incredibly friendly and really made me feel welcome, while everyone else made me feel like a hassle. My Chinese isn't that great but I try my best, and the lady who made the free milk tea acted like a burden when I asked her to repeat things and didn't even bother explaining what it was. They are not that friendly over WeChat either compared to other hotels I've stayed at.
Again, I have to shout out the shuttle driver. I never got his name but he was so cheerful and nice. He also helped unclog the toilet several times; not sure if there was some kind of plumbing issue but it clogged almost every single time and so I unfortunately called him a lot. But he was so patient and helpful every single time and he is the highlight of my stay. Everyone else should adopt his attitude rather than being cold over the WeChat customer service support chat, or basically shouting at you because you are having trouble understanding the free milk tea options."

"What a beautiful hotel.
It is situated in a very strategic location in the middle of the happening where the Giant Buddha is (around 800m to entrance gate.
The pedestrian street where the hotel is located, is gorgepusly colorful illuminated in the evening until around 23:00
Xiaoyan, the hotel staff is very helpful and escorted me to my room and explained everything regarding the functionaliity of the room. Check in was also efficiently done by Xiaoyan. Thank you.
We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel.
Food was sooo deliciois and competitively reasonably priced according to my opinion compared to prices in the Netherlands.
The atmosphere at the bar overlooking the river is nice.
Definitely want to come back again in the near future."

"I'm so impressed with this hotel/resort. It gives the vibe of luxury and comfortability. Its location is so close to Emeishan Railway Station. If you don't carry big luggage, you could wait for the bus Line 13. It's only four bus stops away, opposite a gas/patrol station. For me, I boarded a taxi from the train station and the hotel paid for it.
The staff were wonderful and helpful to me. As I don't speak Chinese, they were eager to help, using the mobile translation app, to make sure my stay was comfortable and convenient.
The room I stayed in was huge, with two queen size beds, decorated to accommodate a family with children. I love the big private bath tub next to a wide window, allowing you to enjoy the view. It's clearly designed for families with young children. There was even a big giant teddy bear and a tipi in the middle of the room for kids to enjoy.
The hotel also has a full size swimming pool. Unfortunately, I didn't get to use it as I spent a lot of time in my huge private bath tub.
I want to give special thanks to Ms. ”Little Horse” for being so welcoming and helpful. She even gave me a bottle of drinking water when I checked out and arranged a taxi for me returning to the train station. Impressive!"

We got upgraded to a river view room and the view was fantastic!
As our train is only departing near to 5pm, we requested for a late check out. To my surprise, they really did their best to accommodate and we only checked out at 3.30pm.

Only six km (3.7 mi) from downtown Emei, the Emeishan Hot Spring Hotel (Emeishan Wenquan Fandian) is located inside the Baoguo Temple Scenic Area and provides nearly 50,000 square meters of landscaped grounds and luxurious suites.All rooms feature air conditioning, stereo systems, cable TV and high-speed Internet access among other conveniences. Chinese and Western restaurants are available.This Emei Shan hotel is within close proximity of the largest outdoor hot spring in western China, Lingxiu Hot Spring. There are also indoor hot spring spa rooms. Guests may also enjoy KTV, the hotel bar, a trip to the sauna, billiards and working out in the gym. In addition, the hotel features a traditional open-door teahouse where guests can enjoy views of the mountains.
"When we arrived at the hotel my Alipay died and I couldn’t pay the taxi fare! No problem.. a very helpful member of reception staff named Xu Ting came to my rescue. She personally paid the driver with her own money! (Later, when my Alipay recovered, I repaid her.)
She then went on to organise a lovely room for us with a few extra touches such as a special bathrobe for my son (to go to the water park) and children’s toiletries. In fact, she couldn’t do enough for us and it was her excellent service that made our stay so enjoyable.
The hotel itself is very slightly tired but perfectly adequate for the price, especially considering a good breakfast buffet is included.
The location is excellent - a two minute walk to restaurants and the bus station to get up the mountain.
The water park/hot springs was a lot of fun late at night with my son, but it was a shame some of the slides etc were closed. For the price I’m not complaining, but perhaps it needs a revamp.
We planned to stay for only one night but after a long day climbing the mountain, I contacted Xu Ting and she once again sorted us a nice room and helped with getting our clothes dry! 5 stars Xu Ting."

"This is the hotel you should go to if you want good onsen facilities and great views from your room.
The hotel staff were all friendly and meticulous. There were even lifeguards on duty at the heated swimming pools for both indoor and outdoor.
Though it wasn't a private onsen room, the onsen facilities were easy to navigate to, and the room came with beautiful views.
Their onsen facilities were clean, and came with a wide variety. The hotel had temperature indicated for each onsen, and all indoor onsen pools had different herbal onsens. The outdoor onsen pools were pretty interesting and fun too. One was for kids that came with a water play feature, the other one was a swirly pool for adults (the swirls were pretty strong, so make sure your child is supervised by an adult at all times).
The changing rooms were also spacious and clean.
There's also a vendor in the indoor heated pool and onsen area selling snacks and drinks. You have the option of sitting and lounging around with the tables and lounging chairs available.
Our hotel room was very spacious and clean for our family of four. There are restaurants and convenience stores right beside the hotel, so meals and purchases were very convenient.
The hotel restaurant and breakfast was alright, though not fantastic compared to better food choices in Chengdu.
The hotel location is fantastic as it was just a 10-15 mins drive away to the entrance of Emeishan.
Overall, though it was only a one night stay, we had a great experience and time here."

GGästanvändareToo many things to compliment. The room is comfortable, clean and the view is stunning. Literally 2 mins walk to park's entry. I recommend you try their restaurant. I am still drooling over their chicken dish. It is super delicious and yet, feels home cooked and fresh. Their service is also excellent, answered and guided me on how to sightseeing in Emeishan. Very helpful. Not just the front desk, but every single hotel staff were welcoming. Too bad I only booked 1 night. I highly recommend this hotel. Definitely my first choice if I visit Emeishan again.

- the location is fantastic with lots of hiking nearby and easy to get to the buses for Mt. Emei
- the staff are very friendly
The bad:
- the hotel is definitely looking tired and dated: chipped woodwork in the rooms, flaking paint on the balcony.
- only one of the many bars is open. Everytime we wanted to order something we were shown a huge menu, only to then be told most things were not available - this included wines, beers and food.
- the hotel was incredibly quiet with the restaurant and bar being completely empty most of the time we were there. Whilst not the hotel’s fault, it dead mean a complete lack of atmosphere.
- various items were listed as included when booking with Trip.com - none of them were available or in fact included.
- when advise was needed from reception: the information given was often not accurate. The staff were wonderfully friendly, they just did not seem to have accurate information or to check it.
Overall: this was the most expensive hotel booked during my three week tour of China and the most disappointing. I would unfortunately not recommend, especially in low season.

Breakfast was plenty and focusing Chinese food, but enough items to survive as foreigner or dip into local food. Building 7 is newer than Building 5. They also have a hot spring building. Hotspring was included and a bit outdated but overall acceptable. Even tried the cleaning fish pool for an extra fee of 38RMB. Quite an experiance

NNick-Lv426Before coming to Emei Utopia Hentique Resort, I called and used their free gift pick-up service from Emeishan railway station. One of their staff was waiting with a sign and welcomed us warmly. The drive to the resort was very good. Upon arriving at the hotel, employees at reception helped us with a lot of information about the Mount Emei climb. The room is very well designed, a mix of traditional and modern architecture. Definitely, a room highlight is the garden with hot springs, I enjoyed it immensely. I would definitely come back to this place, I recommend it.

First of all, we arrived at Emeishan Station at 9 a.m. and had booked the pick-up service in advance. The hotel butler came to pick us up in a business vehicle. Although the hotel is just a few minutes’ drive away, this thoughtful service greatly enhanced the overall experience.
Le Méridien Emeishan is positioned as a resort hotel with over 300 rooms. Since we arrived quite early, we initially thought we’d have to wait until the afternoon to check in. However, the hotel had available rooms and kindly allowed us to check in right away. The butler even gave us two cups of coffee and drove us around in a sightseeing cart to show us different room types. Although we had only booked a standard room, they upgraded us to a lake-view room with beautiful scenery. We really appreciate the hotel’s excellent service!
Additionally, the butler gave us 10 bottles of water upon check-in, which was more than enough—no need to call for more during our stay.
Facilities:
The hotel grounds are quite large, and the buildings are low-rise. Guests staying in Building 2 may need to walk about six to seven minutes to their rooms. The hotel offers a lobby bar, reading lounge, gym, hot spring pool, swimming pool, and kids’ play area. The facilities are generally comprehensive, though the entertainment options may feel a bit limited for a resort hotel. The children’s play area includes simple slides, swings, and a small ball pit—fairly modest in scale.
Location:
About 2 km from Baoguo Temple and close to the shuttle bus station for Emei Mountain. Very convenient.
Breakfast:
Abundant and delicious, with the option to dine outdoors in a beautiful setting.
Environment:
The hotel is located next to Exiu Lake, surrounded by a scenic park with views of the Golden Summit (Jinding). The environment inside the hotel is also pleasant—perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway.
Overall:
The highlight of this hotel is its outstanding service, which is undoubtedly the most important aspect for a resort. It would be even better if the facilities were more varied.

GGästanvändareIt was good but the bathroom had a bit of a weird smell, kind of like the smell of sewage. The smell of incense was also very strong but they were kind enough to review it. The hotel is in a super convenient spot and you can walk 10 minutes to the tourist center or to the front gate of the Leshan Giant Buddha park. It's especially pretty at night and convenient to do the night time Buddha tour!

The hotel exceeded our expectations, with large, well appointed, comfortable rooms. Some highlights were the excellent buffet breakfast with selection of local foods, western breakfasts. We have to especially mention Keshi, who helped us find a local restaurant for a late dinner and helped organise transport to and from the restaurant, making sure we were OK, and checking to make sure we were well prepared for the next day at Emeishan. A great experience.

RRudolph WangHotel was located at a nice, quiet neighbourhood, but still walking distances to Emeishan Train Station, which was great! Our hotel room view, facing the lake, was very relaxing. Amenities were good with Dyson hairdryer. The staff really thought things ahead by taking the initiative of filling up the hotspring tub in our room just before our arrival, so to ensure we can have a very relaxing, enjoyable stay after the whole day out to the Golden Summit of Emei Mountain. Upon checking out, we were given a small paper bag filled with local peanut candies and the lychee flavoured Mr Emei Snow soda drink. It was a very nice, warm gesture from the Hotel. Definitely highly recommended!

GGästanvändareThis is not a 4 or 5 start resort. It’s a 5 star room down the river. The restaurant was closed when we were there, so called gym does not exist at all, swimming pool is small like a pond and the bigger one is for kids. There is no garden or anything that covers the road and the bridge you can hear easily while staying down the swimming pool. The big bonus is the bathroom- big and modern exactly like on the picture and the spring water hot tub that works well and can create a great time during the night as you can hear the river. Light system is amazing. You can find any light that you need to set up a mood. People are very nice and friendly. The front desk does not have ‘ business card’ and location of the hotel was written down on a paper. Really little things that shows this place has a potential but not in the current set up. You can’t lock the room door when you are not inside- only the garden gate. Who would design such a thing? I know it’s a safe destination but still. There is no safe either. People create this place special but it does not meet a high standard resort score.
