"Recently stayed at the Hilton Goa and had a pleasant yet inconsistent experience. The room itself was excellent - very spacious with a large king bed, beautiful furnishings, and sparkling clean bathrooms. The location was also ideal.The breakfast spread was nice. However, the swimming pool was a major disappointment. There seemed to be an overabundance of chlorine or other chemicals in the water that made it uncomfortable to swim in. My eyes stung badly after just a few minutes in the pool … it was basically unusable throughout my stay which was unfortunate.Also there is scope of improvement in the healthclub as well! The hotel staff were courteous and professional but lacked some warmth and hospitality I would expect from a high-end resort. I wouldn't call them rude by any means, but they stuck strictly to business with little smiling or engaging conversation. I was hoping for staff that went the extra mile to create a more welcoming environment. Overall, the Hilton Goa has a lot going for it in terms of room and location. They need to address the pool chemical imbalance and inject more hospitality into their service to excel as a premier 5* hotel. The foundation is there but some tweaks could make this a truly worldclass hotel dest.Thanks"

"Отель очень хороший, отличный сервис, красивый вид. Пляж общий и учитывая, что это северный Гоа, то грязноват, очень людный и по сравнению с южным Гоа конечно сильно проигрывает. Очень просторные и чистые номера. Завтраки так себе, ужасный момент, что нужно стоять очередь чтобы попасть на завтрак, это вообще кринж конечно. В целом отель на 4+."

"Disappointing for a 5 star property. They contacted a day prior to ask what time I would be checking in. I came in a bit later than the time mentioned and still had to wait 15-20 mins for the room to be ready. Check out was slow as well. Rooms are clean but old and need improvement. Breakfast buffet had mediorce options. Staff barely smile at you. Stayed at 3 star properties with much better outcome"

"Красивый, уютный отель. Очень вежливый и доброжелательный персонал. Очень вкусные завтраки в красивом ресторане. Расположен в тихом месте, в 8 - 10 минутах ходьбы от пляжа. Ночью беспокоили комары, попросили фумитокс на ресепшен. Был слышен постоянный сильный шум от какой-то вытяжки или промышленного кондиционера. В целом отель понравился, не против вернуться, только но ера нужно брать с видом во двор на бассейн, а не на улицу."

"The hotel is in a great location. Very friendly welcome. We were shown to our room and things explained. The balcony was small but ample. The room should have contained robe and slippers but these were missing, although didn't affect our stay so not a real issue. The pool is small but was very quiet and provided a nice cool off. Towels are available at the counter. The hotel is located directly on the beach with beech shacks and restaurants on the beach very nearby. The hotel does not provide beach loungers BUT if you head to a beach shack and buy a drink or two, they will allow the use of a bed for free. Directly out of the hotel gate on the beach there was a lady with beds trying to charge 500 rupees for a bed for the day. This is not necessary when you can get a drink for less with a free bed. We nearly learned the hard way. The bed was far too hard for me, resulting in reduced sleep, but some people may prefer a firmer bed. My partner slept better than me so this was a personal experience. The bedding was nice quality though. The whole place was clean and tidy. Rooms made up every day in the afternoon so not disturbed early morning which is nice. The rooms are not soundproof so a lot of noise can be heard from outside when people start moving around in the morning. Staff were friendly - everyone had a smile, and nothing too much trouble. We only experienced breakfast once, and I would say it is ok as long as you don't expect a full English fry up (which in my opinion you shouldn't as you're in India). The food was hot, tasty, and fresh. There was plenty to choose from for a breakfast selection. If I was to fault the breakfast, to provide a suggestion, providing tea and coffee black so that customers can add their own milk would make it more accessible to all. I can't drink too much dairy so had to give this a miss. Then the only real downside to this hotel we found is when checking out, you are made to wait until the room has been checked, in case you steal anything. I completely understand this, but this should be made clear when checking in. We had booked a taxi to arrive at check out time, which could have resulted in additional costs for waiting time. Just to be mindful if staying here and arranging onward travel. Or maybe the hotel could make this policy clearer upon checking in. All in all a very nice stay in Candolim and this hotel was a good choice."

"Taj is the best in every service. We visited Taj Holiday for our anniversary and our stay was excellent. The Breakfast was amazing and had lot of varieties. Taj is the best hotel in hospitality. The Hotel lobby staff Saily helped us very much, upgrade our room to a Cottage and also gave us a complimentary anniversary Pastry and decorated our room. She also gave us some cute gifts on our anniversary. We also visited and enjoyed Taj Fort Aguada property as its accessible from Taj Holiday Village Resort, the property is amazing and has serene and beautiful beach views. Thank you Taj for the amazing service and hospitality. See you soon."

"It’s not about the hotel but for trip.com.The pictures you have shown on websites of the hotel are totally different and mislea.After a long day from our home town to Goa Novotel was already very exhausting and further the rooms were biggest disappointment..it’s was late and raining heavily,last moment we booked another hotel.its was so claustrophobic,my husband started feeling uneasy the very moment we entered."
