"The hotel is really far away from the city and the restaurants are always fully booked during the busy holidays. During our stay, the weather was not good so we have to stay indoor for activities but there are only limited activities for children and the gym closed too early. However the view of the hotel is superb. Recommend to go there at summer time."

"Rummet är okej, men bristen på gardiner är ett stort problem för människor som har sömnbehov. Det finns en liten balkong, men på grund av grönskan finns det insekter. Rekommenderas om du reser med små barn eller par, det är inte lämpligt för äldre människor som jag som inte gillar att simma. Området runt hotellet är relativt öde. Men hotellets restaurang är mycket bra, servicen är okej, den franska maten och enkla måltiderna är bra och drinkarna är utsökta. Den gamla japanska damen som kommer till hotellet för att resa är verkligen elegant, precis som damen i filmen, hennes kläder, tal etc. är avundsvärda. Det var kinesisk servicepersonal den sista dagen, vilket var lite svårt för mig som inte kan japanska eller engelska eftersom restaurangen kräver reservationer. Frukostbuffén är mycket bra, särskilt frukterna av bitter melon (lokal specialitet) är mycket färska."

"The hotel is located near beautiful and clean Sesoko beach with marvellous sea abundant with great variety of fish. A perfect location for swimming and snorkeling. Sesoko beach and fantastic view thereof from our balcony has been a huge, but unfortunately the only advantage of the hotel. If you don’t rent a car, you have to be ready for the situation when you are unable to leave the hotel at all. It’s very hard to call a taxi either via Uber or even via local taxi app “Go”. The hotel staff does not provide too much help with this issue either, even when requested to book a taxi to the airport (to be fair hotel concierge finally managed to arrange a car for us, but it arrives 30 minutes late, despite our request being extended at least 12 hours before the planned departure). The hotel management is apparently aware of the transport inconvenience for their guests, but do not seem to care about that at all: they’ve chosen the easiest way “to cope” with the problem: just smile and say “sorry”. There’s another advantage of such approach for the hotel: if guests cannot leave the hotel easily, they wouldn’t have much lunch/dining choice other than having meals in the hotel. And here we come to another issue with the hotel: a very mediocre choice of dining options (no Japanese cuisine options at all) and extremely poor menu (with even poorer service) in the only available lunch venue. Breakfasts are below expectations as well: absolutely same food every morning (the only change from day to day: fried salmon/fried mackerel), no fresh fish/sea-food (we’re still in Japan, aren’t we?), almost no choice of fruits. Verdict: a very overrated hotel, pretty mediocre itself, but located beside the gorgeous sea."

"The hotel and its ocean view from the room are very beautiful. Room is very clean and spacious. Staff are very helpful. The location is good too. There are plenty of good restaurants around, and not long driving to Manzamo and Nago. I stayed for 2 nights, and if you do not require any room making and cleaning, you can get a ¥1000 voucher which can be used in the hotel e.g. hotel shop. I think this generous initiative is very effective and win-win to save resources while boost spending. However, please note that hotel will charge parking fee. I will definitely stay again in my next visit!"

"不管是房間、公共設施、風景、服務，早餐，全部都非常滿意！ 一到門口就先把我們的行李都搬去房間，即使沒有電梯也不用擔心，服務人員提供的調酒好喝擺盤顏色很美，每個人都填寫資料後有專人來講解飯店裡的設施。 有免費自取的飲料吧、泳池邊有躺椅能欣賞星空！ 房間格局跟照片一樣，房間內的食物和飲料也全部免費。 晚餐因為太晚到達所以買了周圍的超商，服務員幫我們把食物微博加熱，也附上很多餐具讓我們家用餐，服務真的很棒！吃飽休息後舒服的泡澡，熟睡了一覺。起床的美景讓人完全不覺得早期很痛苦！一下精神都來了😍 早餐時間也很享受，尤其是風景和服務，這次家裡剛好有人生日，可能是填資料時看到，吃早餐的時候主動幫我們慶生和贈送水果盤當作蛋糕！非常驚喜也很開心～ 隔壁棟有個泳池和小按摩池、還有小冷泉，更衣室、廁所和沐浴室很乾淨還開著冷氣，在那也非常享受，可惜時間不夠沒享受到酒吧等設施。 是會想再訪的高級飯店！即使得開進很偏僻的路也值得前進！"

"The overall condition of the hotel, including the rooms, restaurants and pools, is good. The room (over 60 sqm) is spacious with a tatami and sofa sitting area as well as a small balcony facing the sea. The view at sunset is beautiful. There are not many rooms per floor so the hotel is quiet and relaxing. We had the pool to ourselves on both occasions when we swam. The private beach just opposite the hotel( 6-7 minutes walk downhill ) is also worth a visit but it closes at 6pm. The sister hotel nearby offers shuttles and tuk tuk service and they were nice to come back to the beach to pick up any hotel guests 10-15 minutes past six ( even though the schedule indicated that the last shuttle would be at 6pm. ). Breakfast had good options and definitely worth it as there isn’t any cafe nearby. For lunch or dinner, there are 10-12 restaurants within walking distance offering Okinawan cuisine and the concierge is happy to make recommendations. Parking costs ¥1000 per day and they offered a ¥1000 yen voucher if we opt for the “no daily cleaning “ option. The voucher can be used for parking or shopping in the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its facilities and we loved the very large room( try to go the indoor pool and the sauna too)."

"飯店工作人員非常親切，若有任何問題可以隨時協助。 另外飯店提供的備品及設備齊全；除了有基本的護膚保養品、還有refa的吹風機、甚至連璃直夾都有、還有洗脫烘機、餐具、微波爐等，可以只帶一個小包就入住，非常適合來度假。 古宇利島雖然交通不便，但景色真的非常宜人，飯店很貼心若想去古宇利島的景點，飯店人員會開車接送，服務真的非常周到(我搭乘時因為有風，飯店還給我準備了毛毯) 房間內部空間很大，且床非常舒適，這兩天我都睡得非常好! 另外飯店很貼心，退房那天是我的生日，我並沒有在訂單特別提到，但飯店人員在我退房時送了小禮物及祝福給我，讓我感到非常的驚喜及開心! 下次來古宇利島仍會選擇入住次飯店，非常推薦給大家!"

"I booked the Beach House zone with 2 bedrooms and 1 living room, and overall, it was a wonderful stay. The room condition was excellent—very clean, beautiful, and elegantly designed, with a stunning sea view. The facilities were well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed. One minor issue was that at night, when closing the bathroom door, there was a wind noise, so we had to keep the bathroom door open while sleeping. Transportation between the main building and the Beach House was convenient with a golf cart service. Additional costs included a parking fee and a resort fee of 300 yen per person per night. Breakfast around 7:30 AM was quite busy, but I really liked their online queue system, which allowed us to reserve our spot virtually without waiting in front of the restaurant. The resort had three swimming pools. The first pool, located right next to the sea, was disappointing—it was very dirty, with algae at the bottom. Another issue was that the edge of this pool facing the sea was too deep; anyone under 160 cm would not be able to stand, even though it’s the side with the best sunset view. The second pool was located slightly higher up, but we didn’t use it. The third was an indoor pool, which we also didn’t try. Staff service was excellent. They spoke English and Japanese fluently, and some could even communicate in Chinese. Around the hotel, there were also quite a few good restaurants within easy reach, which was very convenient. Overall, I was very impressed with almost everything, except for the cleanliness of the swimming pool."

"My stay at Yawn Yard Kouri Island (Sea) was overall very pleasant. Each villa features a private swimming pool and an outdoor soaking tub, offering a serene and luxurious retreat. The in-room dining service was especially ideal for families with infants—like ours, with a 3-month-old baby boy. It allowed us to enjoy meals without worrying about sudden crying episodes disturbing other guests, as might happen in a public restaurant setting. The dinner provided through in-room dining was exceptionally delicious and thoughtfully prepared. We truly enjoyed both breakfast and dinner in the villa’s outdoor courtyard, where we could take in stunning ocean views, sunsets, and even rainbows—a truly magical experience. The bed was incredibly comfortable, adding to the overall sense of relaxation and making our stay even more memorable. That said, it’s worth noting that the villa’s design leans toward an eco-lodge style. The bathroom is located at the rear of the house, requiring guests to walk through the outdoor courtyard each time they need to use it. This can be less convenient in the evening, especially when insects like spiders are more active. For this reason, the accommodation may not suit everyone."

"Our family have booked two rooms separately by two booking in the same period for the family trip, we have already completed the pre-registration for the hotel check-in to issue the check-in code. However, one room can get the password for getting the hotel key, another room was failed to get the password in the self check-in counter. We have to call the hotel customer service to get the password. We talked over 20 minutes and it spent around HKD300 for the mobile phone roaming fee."
