我們Ishq度過了難忘的一晚，很遺憾因為時間沒有多住幾天，那留給下次吧！酒店古樸典雅，房間床品傢俱頗有品味，酒店有一個非常迷人的圖書館，我真想在裏面呆上一週，享受微風輕拂看書的安靜時光；酒店維護得很好，乾淨，床品有陽光的清新味，這在潮熱的海濱城市來説非常難得；我們在精美的餐廳享用了一頓難忘的晚餐，燭光跳躍，涼風習習，實在是太浪漫了！另外值得一提的是我們的管家Darshana非常熱心專業，為我們提供了不少幫助，感謝Ishq團隊，為客人提供如此優美的歇息環境！

科倫坡的瑪尼帕提酒店，一座建於1906年的古宅，曾經是科雷亞家族的私邸。踏入酒店，彷彿穿越時空，深刻體會到那份被歲月打磨過的質感。酒店巧妙地保留了原有的殖民地風格建築細節以及歷史文化氛圍。酒店衹有幾間客房，我的房間被意外升級，帶有一個小花園。角落裡的一把椅子和小茶几成了我閲讀的好地方。早晨，松鼠在樹間跳躍，綠鸚鵡在白牆上嬉戲，在門前的泳池裡享受了寧靜的時光。感恩！

This was a really nice hotel and stay however although check was at 2pm the room was not ready until after 5:15pm. We arrived around 4 and ended up waiting by the pool for our rooms. Otherwise the pool and rooms and staff were very nice and accomodating. The breakfast buffet and the portions at the Steakhouse were sensational 🥰 The view from the room was also really nice.

The hotel was nice overall, but the soundproofing was an issue. We stayed in a connecting room and could clearly hear activities from next door, TG I have ear plugs haha

The hotel is at a good location linked to one of the shopping malls,which is convenient to shop,and also walking distance to one of the tourist attractions of the Buddhist temple. The room was average as there is no shower screen which make the whole bathroom wet, especially people who are not happy with such designs  and may distort the experience and one part the room service staff forgot to replenish the shampoo and conditioner when we checked in. However we informed the office desk and immediately they sent the necessary, however overall the experience was pleasant.

Words can’t express how grateful I am to the team at Shangri La Colombo. I was travelling with my grandma who is 91 years old so I wanted to book our stay at a place that I could count on . I have experienced the hospitality of Shangri-La at other parts of the world and I was hopeful that it would be the same. They did not disappoint. Right from Masood at the door to Dileka at breakfast and Waruna at the Concierge , our every need was met, and then some! It’s fully accessible if you have reduced mobility , and everyone who works there is constantly thinking ahead, so that you feel comfortable. The location is beautiful, the food is amazing and the hospitality is truly exceptional. I’m very grateful to the entire team for ensuring we had a memorable holiday.

Staff at the reception was very friendly and nice. Even though there were a lot of people, we got our room quite fast. One of the guys helped us to bring our luggage to the room. They welcomed us with drinks and there were fruits in the room. The bathroom was clean, the bed very comfortable, we had a good rest. There is a railway station near the hotel and it’s close to the sea and some popular tourist destinations. The breakfast was amazing!!!!! So much food! Everything was very very very delicious, I ate the best Christmas stollen there! Be careful if you eat outside, the bird stole our leftovers😄 Overall, we enjoyed our stay, thank a lot!

A beautiful building in a very pleasant area of Colombo; the architecture and interior design of the hotel are a joy to behold and the vast majority of staff are polite and courteous. Plenty of amenities nearby to suit all tastes and interests. The breakfasts were great both mornings (both the Sri Lankan breakfast and the Western style), and they really lived up to the high expectations we’d had from the Instagram marketing we’d seen. We were upgraded to the North West Suite, which was a larger room, for which we were greatly appreciative; a couple of issues with working plugs and appliances (coffee machine and hair dryer) were reported and rectified, although the wiring/plugs more broadly were temperamental and poorly placed (as expected, possibly, with the charm of an older hotel). However, the bed was comfortable, the hotel was quiet, and the bathroom was well appointed. Our only qualm was with the overzealous Head of Housekeeping, who seemed to not grasp the subtlety required for such a role, or the privacy with which guests might like to enjoy the beautiful hotel. It appeared that he lingered all too often in search of a tip, and didn’t quite appreciate the boundaries one might desire when paying a reasonable fee for each night. My wife and I took to speedily locking the door and placing the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on the handle to keep his incessant interrupting to a minimum. His deputy was, however, an asset to the hotel, who seemed to comprehend the subtle art of providing high quality service for a luxury stay in a lovely hotel. All-in-all, a great choice for a hotel in the heart of Colombo, and hopefully, during a busier season, the aforementioned Head of Housekeeping might spread his overbearing attention across the many rooms of the hotel.

AMAZING INCREDIBLE FRIENDLY KIND CARING WONDERFUL ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT STAFF AT THIS HOTEL WE AS A FAMILY ARE FREQUENT TRAVELLERS AND I MUST SAY OUR STAY AT THIS HOTEL WAS ONE OF BEST AND MOST BRILLIANT AND IT WAS ALL DOWN TO THE INCREDIBLY KIND FRIENDLY HOTEL STAFF WHERE WE RECEIVED THE BEST BEST SERVICE AND TREATMENT ESPECIALLY FROM THE BAR AND RESTAURANT PARTICULAR MR BANDARA ,MR RAJ , MS RITHIKA , MR LOCHANA AND ALL OF THE WODNERFUL STAFF AT THE RESTAURNAT WE WERE TREATED LIKE SPECIAL FAMILY AND ABSOLUTELY WE WERE LOOKED AFTER LIKE ROYALTY ALL THE WAY THROUGH OUR STAY. A BIG THANK YOU TO THE WONDERFUL STAFF AT THE RESTAURNAT AND THROUGHOUT THIS INCREDIBLE HOTEL YOU MADE OUR STAY TEH BEST EVER IT WAS MOST WODNERFUL AMD WE CANNOT WAIT TO COME BACK AND STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN VERY SOON AND TO MEET AND ASLO BE SO VERY WELL LOOKED AFTER ONCE AGAIN BY THE WONDERFUL RESTAURANT STAFF. FIVE STAR HOTEL WITH TEN STAR STAFF !! KEEP DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND KEEP SMILING YOU GUYS ARE SUCH AMAZING PROFESSIONALS THANK YOU FOR a WONDERFUL STAY FROM ALL OUR FAMILY

Always a pleasure to stay at Taj Samudra. Great service and a fantastic Breakfast Buffet. Some of the pricing e.g Fresh Orange juice in the Lobby cafe was extortionate, maybe an oversight
