Hotellet är rent och platsen är bekväm om du kör.Det ger gratis parkering inomhus.Det finns inte mycket restaurang runt detta hotell. Sängen är bekvämt men tvättvattnet och toaletten är modernt men inte väl utformad (se foton).Det finns ingen ryggspray för bassinet och toaletten är inte helt innesluten med luftventilation.Badhanddukar är lite klädda.

We booked two rooms for 7 nights at the Sheraton Cebu Mactan. We are two families traveling together with three young children and a pregnant wife. We were excited for a relaxing vacation, but after just 4 days, we wanted to check out early. The hotel agreed to refund only one room (around 900–1000 USD), but refused to refund the second room. This decision was made even though the hotel is completely full (Chinese New Year, peak season). Our rooms could have been sold to other guests immediately, so there was no financial risk to the hotel. Why We Wanted to Leave Early: 1. Food Issues (Very Important for Muslim Families) The hotel is in an isolated location with no restaurants nearby. The on-site restaurants serve mostly spicy Asian food, often containing pork. As Muslim families with young children, we cannot eat spicy food or pork. This made every meal a struggle. 2. Transportation (A Nightmare) Getting a taxi is extremely difficult. · When we wanted to leave the hotel to go to the city, we often waited over an hour for a taxi. · When we tried to return to the hotel from the city (like Cebu), we waited up to 2 hours because drivers refuse to come to this hotel. · Even within the Mactan area, finding a taxi was not easy. · The hotel offers a transfer service, but it costs 2–3 times more than a regular taxi. For a family, this is not a practical solution. 3. Maintenance Issues On the very first day, we reported that the sink was clogged – water drained very slowly. We were promised it would be fixed. After 3 days, nothing had been done. On day 3, I personally told the General Manager, Mr. Robin Bernard, about the problem. He said: ”No problem, I will solve it.” But even after his promise, nothing happened. Finally, on day 4, housekeeping came to our room. We showed them the problem by running the water. They saw it immediately and called an engineer, who fixed it within 20 minutes. Mr. Bernard's promise meant nothing. The regular staff fixed it. Our Conversation with Management We requested an early checkout. Mr. Ross Bautista genuinely tried to help us. He suggested a possible refund for one room and arranged a meeting with his superior to discuss our case. That meeting was with General Manager Robin Bernard. Here is what happened: · He claimed he ”knew the situation”, but could not explain any details. We had to tell him everything again: about the children, the pregnant wife, the food, the transportation. · Throughout the conversation, he was arrogant and condescending. It felt like he was not listening, just waiting for us to finish. · We explained that the hotel was fully booked (Chinese New Year, peak season), so letting us leave early would not hurt his business. The rooms would be sold again immediately. · His response was shocking. He looked at us and said, word for word: ”You should not think about my business. It's my concern.” Then, one minute later, when we asked for understanding, he said: ”I have to think about my business.” There is no logic. It felt like he just wanted to show his power and punish us for asking. The result? Nothing changed. Ross Bautista tried, but his hands were tied. Robin Bernard simply confirmed his original decision and showed zero empathy. As long as Mr. Robin Bernard is the General Manager, we will never return to this hotel. His arrogance, empty promises, and complete lack of care for families with children and special dietary needs are destroying the reputation of this Sheraton. To other Muslim families or anyone traveling with young children: I strongly recommend choosing a different hotel. Here, your needs will be ignored if the manager does not feel like helping.

Som ett nybyggt hotell är faciliteterna fantastiska. Infinitypoolen är vacker, och poolen bredvid var perfekt för avkoppling. Den privata stranden var också fin, med rent vatten och massor av fisk att se. De sa att frukosten var utsökt, men förutom brödet var det inte så bra. Utrymmet är litet, så det är väntetid under rusningstid. Och även om de flesta i personalen var vänliga, var säkerhetsvakterna riktigt otrevliga. Haha. Jag höll nästan på att klaga, men jag höll tillbaka. Rummen var rena, och duschfiltren var ett måste. De påstår att de alla har havsutsikt, men jag hade delvis havsutsikt. Hmm... Jag vet inte vad skillnaden är. Ändå njöt jag av utsikten över nyårsfyrverkerierna. Den enda nackdelen är att det egentligen inte finns något i närheten, så man måste förlita sig på leverans eller Grab. Det är två byggnader, så om man gör fel måste man ta hissen till lobbyn och sedan ta hissen ner igen för att komma dit. Det är så irriterande...

Jag tillbringade nyligen tre oförglömliga nätter på Badian Island Wellness Resort, och jag kan säkert säga att det var en märkbar upplevelse från början till slut. **Plats**: På en fängelsestrand erbjuder resorten fantastiska utsikter över turkisvatten och lussig grönska.Den lugna miljön är perfekt för avkoppling, och de närliggande attraktionerna, inklusive fantastiska vattenfall, är lättillgängliga. Personalen på Badian Island var exceptionell.Från det ögonblick vi anlände var de varma, välkomna och uppmärksammade våra behov. De gick över och bort för att se till att vår vistelse var bekväm, tillhandahållande av personlig service som verkligen gjorde oss kända speciella. *Food**: Matupplevelsen var glädjefull!Restaurangen erbjöd en mängd olika menyer med lokal och internationell mat, alla expertberedda och vackert presenterade. Varje måltid var en kulinarisk resa, och vi njöt särskilt av färsk havsmat och traditionella filippinska måltider. Vi firade också vår sons födelsedag under vår vistelse, och resorten arrangerade graciöst en liten kaka för oss.Det var en vacker överraskning för honom som gjorde dagen ännu vackrare. Överlag var min vistelse på Badian Island Wellness Resort inget annat än magisk.Kombinationen av fantastisk plats, utmärkt service och läckra mat gjorde det till en riktigt minnesvärd hållplats.Jag kan inte vänta på att komma tillbaka!

We booked 2 nights In the Business class suite it was my bday & after typhoon tino . I’ve been staying in Radisson since 2010 & there service never change. Still very accommodating, friendly & helpful.. except for this one staff in the business class lounge . I arrived 2 min early in the lounge and I start to put food on my plate and he stopped me and literally told me U CANT eat yet As it’s not 5pm sharp!! And he literally pass by me and served water on all the guests glass except me!! The next morning my family went before 7am and all staffs are nice and He wasn’t there and snack time they went early again and he was so nice to them and served them water and coffee.. at evening I went with my whole family and he smiled at me and ddnt serve us water again!! Hes a lil chubby and Chinese eyes wearing black uniform . The reception guy blue uniform is very nice & he was so friendly and accommodating to all of us. My mom is a 71yr old senior & sometimes she needs help but this reception guy was really helpful except for that one rude staff

Kandaya resort is definitely very beautiful and clean. It offers many activities from ARV, horseback rides, archery, island hopping and many more. The breakfast is delicious and has a variety of, especially Philippine cuisine. The kayaking was our personal favorite. It’s just a long drive away from Cebu city. However, should we find ourselves that side of the world again, we will choose this resort anytime. Lastly, the room was so stylish and modern..it was just amazing. Bed is super comfortable.

Exceptional service! From the guard , lobby staffs, receptionist & house keeping & restaurant staffs are all Amazing , very attentive always serve you with a smile , courteous and kind. They upgraded me in a suite back in December 20 25 so now we booked that exact same, they put me into last year. Good food, clean pools very safe for kids as I'm traveling with my niece and son they both enjoyed as always. Thanks Movenpick your staffs are really exceptional.
