"A beautiful hotel but falls short of 5 star service. The service received was pretty inconsistent as some members of staff and certain situations were dealt with to a top standard but the hotel fell short in other areas. The poolside was not staffed so on our 2 days that we spent there (would have spent more but it was boring), there was nothing provided to eat or drink. Spending time by the pool is a big part of my holiday so this was really disappointing. When I enquired with a staff member, I was told it is un-manned due to a lack of guests using the pool. This wasnt an acceptable reason. The other situation I had was when I asked if I could change money using my contactless card (we forgot our bank cards!) - 2 members of staff said it is possible then when I went to change the money, the manager(Nicole) came and advised that it actually isnt possible. Very unprofessional. Check-in was really nice and Kartik was friendly and helpful. The gentleman at the door was very, very helpful in all matters and 2 members of staff at Alnafourah were also very helpful and friendly. We watched football at Alnafourah and we were treated well and nicely accommodated. Another incident occured when we came back to our room following a visit to the pool and having had our room made up, there were no towels! I had to call twice to housekeeping to advise them as they took so long to respond then when a member from housekeeping arrived, he told me the towels will take an hour to arrive! Never experienced something like this at a 5 star hotel. I had to go down to reception to resolve the situation and I will say that Nicole did sort it out immediately, the housekeeping manager visited our room to apologise and provided a complimentary fruit bowl. Nicole also offered a wonderful gesture by giving us complimentary entrance to a beautiful 'brunch by the pool' evening dinner. This was a lovely gesture as the food on offer was delightful. The gesture was very much appreciated. The location of the hotel isnt the best as there isnt too much to do in the area but taxis are so easy to get, this isnt too much of an issue. Overall, a really nice hotel but in my opinion, falls short of 5 star standard but does provide good value for the price. Nice but I wouldn't stay here again. Overall service needs improvement."

"Jag stannade nyligen på JW Marriott Marquis och hade en fantastisk erfarenhet från början till slut.Personalen var verkligen välkomnande och uppmärksam, för att se till att varje detalj var perfekt under hela mitt besök. Mitt rum var rymt och orörligt rent.Jag uppskattade särskilt den fantastiska staden och havsutsikten. Matalternativ var utmärkta.Frukost var en uppmärksam färsk, överflödig och serverad med underbar service."

"Everything was very good and the reception staff is professional... A minor note is that there is no place to dry swimsuits. And when booking, I wrote a note that my stay would be for my first wedding anniversary. However, when we went to the hotel, we did not find anything regarding this note."

I'm satisfied with my stay for a night in this property, only a minor issue from the shower room was in question mark, the water gushed out of the shower room when showering was in use, improvement work is needed for the future guests, including me of course"

"Lovely hotel, nice large rooms and excellent breakfast. The only downside is that they are strict with the 15:00 check in time. We arrived around 13:30 but an earlier check in was not possible."

"Great experience at Steigenberger Hotel. The facilities are nice clean and comfortable. Location was great too near to the tourist attractions. "The room was very clean and large. Feras, the front desk staff from Jordan was very friendly. The check-in procedure was smooth and quick. Unfortunately, there was light leakage between the curtain box and the curtain, with a gap of about 15 cm. I can't imagine that the curtains in a five-star hotel room would leak light. I checked in at 3:30 AM, and it was about 4 o'clock after I washed and went to bed. The light woke me up at 7 o'clock in the morning, and I didn't sleep well, which affected my schedule for the day. This is my fourth and last time staying in this hotel"

"I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Hilton Doha for a wonderful stay! We stayed at the hotel from May 6 to May 18 and were absolutely delighted. Excellent service, friendly and attentive staff, comfortable rooms with a stunning sea view – everything was top-notch. The breakfasts were delicious and varied, housekeeping was done daily and to a high standard. I would also like to highlight the front desk team – always helpful and professional. Our vacation was truly perfect – relaxing atmosphere, convenient location, beach and pool, everything thoughtfully arranged. I highly recommend Hilton Doha to anyone planning a trip to Qatar! "Detta är verkligen femstjärnig kvalitet. Lobbyn och rummen är unikt designade, rena och rymliga. Varje rum har en kaffebryggare, ett litet kylskåp, gott om handdukar och badlakan, ett värdeskåp och en strykbräda – alla bekvämligheter finns, och läget är mycket bekvämt. Mitt flyg anlände tidigt på morgonen, och receptionen var otroligt vänlig, ordnade gratis tidig incheckning och frågade till och med om min avgångstid för att hjälpa till med en sen utcheckning. Eftersom jag inte hade kontanter accepterade de kreditkort för depositionen. Frukosten var riklig, och servicen i både rummen och restaurangen var utmärkt. Jag vill särskilt nämna tofflorna – de var otroligt bekväma! Rekommenderas starkt! Jag kommer definitivt att bo här igen!"
