Wine & Spa Complex Starosel

Excellent staff, food and spa! The food at the restaurant was also top notch. The pool facilities are one of the best I've seen and the architecture and design of the whole hotel are very interesting and stylish. We went for a couples weekend.

Slightly strange place. Don’t pay for the wine ‘tour’ if not Bulgarian as it is very quick audio tour. Wine tasting itself was good - take a coat. If staying in the cheaper rooms at the bottom of the complex do go to the newer bit. Make sure to book spa treatments the day before. Rooms boiling hot. Noisy peacocks. Breakfast ok. Good choice at the buffet.

The place has everything, nature, luxury, typical bulgarian style, mineral pools, children play areas, lots of animals, beautiful views, staff is really friendly, food delicious, really has everything! Give it 11 of 10!! Would definitely be back!

The hotel SPA is located in a beautiful area We booked via the hotel and they were very nice Unfortunately the room they gave is was northern and looking a-nice forest. However there was little dark and no sun They kindly changed our room and give is a room with a view toward the village with eastern view which allowed ro have sun in the morning The SPA is good but we came during national holidays and it was crowded with families and kids, so we went in the early mornings We took massages and I was disappointed because the first was excellent but the second was not good It depends on the masseur . We recommend Angel and Radost . Diana is not good Be careful to be on time. I was late and they charged me full price for half of the time and half of the quality

The complex is huge and it could be great if there weren’t so many misunderstandings. - huge room with fireplace, jacuzzi, spacious bathroom but dirty and old dated. There were used towels in the wardrobe from previous guests - The SPA is like luna park. Full of children who screams and jump in the pools. If you don’t bring a towel from your room, you have to pay for IT in the SPA. - what about the food - it’s poor and tasteless. - a bottle of wine at the shopis 18 BGN. Same bottle of wine in the bar which is 10 meters from the shop is 50 BGN. - it’s time for a party. Let’s go to the “piano bar”. Oh, wait! It’s 11 pm but it’s full of children. They are everywhere, run, jump and climb over tables. What the heck those children doing at midnight at the bar where adults drink alcohol and smoke?? At 11 pm you find out that this is not a piano bar but night club with dj and chalga. This is what you get for 200 € per night.

Excellent resort and spa hotel in Starosel. Staff was very polite and helpful. Rooms are comfortable. The wine production and wine cellars are definately worth seeing. Breakfast and dinner are plentiful. I can recommend this resort based on my own experience.
