Sugarbird Manor

Sugarbird is a magical place, surrounded by abundant natural beauty with lovely and helpful staff. We really enjoyed our stay and cuddling with Nacho, the manor cat! The bed was super comfortable as were the rest of the amenities and the views were unbeatable. We really enjoyed the breakfasts as well.

Ginny, Megan and the Team were exceptional! Had an efficient booking, check-in and settling in with follow-up checks to see all was well. Check-out was a breeze too! Their ginger cat, the chicken and the family of 5 peacocks were so friendly too! They'd walk around us daily like we were family. The bed & pillows were really comfortable. The bathroom was roomy and the water pressure & temperature was on point! The breakfast service was awesome with the kitchen team preparing fresh meals from the freshest local produce available. As a vegan I was definitely taken care of. As a coffee lover, had the most amazing Nespresso coffee variety with one of the best coffee machines I've seen and that too coupled with a choice of oat milk & almond milk whenever it was required! Been ages since I swam in a hotel pool and had a great time with my nephews & friends. Fresh clean towels for all users of the pool! A pool with a view!

The property is situated with a beautiful view of vineyard and gardens. Attention to details to provide comfort is obvious and appreciated. Add in amazing hospitality from friendly services and food provided with love, this is a 4.5-5/5 rating type of stay.

Beautiful fields. Amazing views. We arrived at 5pm after some traffic so the introduction was quick as the lady was finishing her day. We had suite nr 8, nice bathroom with a big bath and an amazing view. No balcony unfortunately. Be ware of the panic button, I was looking for the light and didn’t know what it was! The children had cottages nr 2 & 4. We don’t recommend nr 2 as your view is on the street but is spacious, there is a kitchen and is very well decorated. The resort has 3 little swimming pools, choose the one with comfortable sunbeds because the wooden ones don’t have a matrassen and are way too hard. Megan at the reception recommended some good addresses for restaurants and wine tours.

Ginny and the team are exceptionally welcoming. The property and view are so lovely. We stayed in a garden guest house, all modern amenities. Highly recommend.
