Gramercy Mansion

This place is beautiful. The staff was excellent. The sheets and towels were so soft. I highly recommend staying here. There was so much to see there! I would love to go back I had more time to take in the grounds. It we be wonderful to be there when you could swimb

It was an amazing stay! We were very comfortable and we absolutely loved the grounds. It was an honor to meet Anne during our breakfast which was beautiful. Thank you everyone for being so gracious and kind. We look forward to our next stay - not soon enough.

The Gramercy Mansion is my husband and my favorite place in the world. We were married there in October 2017 and have gone back almost every year since. The feeling of peace that settles over us as soon as we turn from the main road and start up the winding driveway is indescribable. It is our little slice of heaven. With as busy as it is, it always feels like we have the place to ourselves. Every room we’ve stayed in has been perfection, beautifully decorated and maintained. The attention to detail and personalized service is unmatched in any other hotel or b&b we’ve visited. I can’t sing its praises enough. The gardens are beautiful in every season (check out the book of garden photos they have there if you don’t believe me). The actual food is consistently wonderful. I want this place to be around forever and ever.

The staff at Gramercy are wonderful. They clearly like working here. On arrival, Heather talked to me about the mansion and her passion for horses. At breakfast, "Cherish" also discussed the mansion, how they host weddings, use caterers for dinners, and what I could expect about road conditions with a winter storm approaching. Susie gave me tips on dining, and so forth. The overall property is a luxury mansion from the past century. Spectacular furniture, artwork, woodwork details. It's like staying at Downton Abbey (the BBC miniseries). The rooms are quite comfortable. I had a gas fireplace that was both relaxing and generated significant warmth. The bed is beautiful and comfortable. I slept like a baby. I took a bath in the jacuzzi tub every night, and there is a nice shelf around the edges to set a glass of wine or soda. The room is quiet. When I extended one night, the staff brought me more towels and I got two bottles of water every day. Breakfast is great! Eggs Benedict with sausage one day, omelette with bacon the next and scrambled eggs & cheese with scallions on top the third morning. They have pancakes and maple syrup options, and I had fresh fruit. A roaring fire was set in the dinging room, a nice touch on a snowy morning. I stayed an extra day because I didn't want to leave (and weather). I saw a nice wedding while I was there. This is a perfect venue for weddings.

Staying here is like staying in a (wealthy) friends mansion. The rooms are delightful all with fireplaces. The larger rooms have wood burning fireplaces ours was gas. Tons of art and antiques. The breakfasts were extremely well done with huge proportions, many options not just one or two. The staff is super friendly. Recommend it highly.

A beautiful bed and breakfast with great food and plenty of charm. The rooms are all unique and cozy. We stayed in the Magnolia Room, which was incredibly nice despite being the cheapest one. The mansion has a lot to see, and guests are given free rein to explore the gorgeous property. The breakfast is yummy as well and accommodates dietary restrictions. On the negative side, the breakfast choices are somewhat limited. More than two days and you’ll be sick of them. There is also a lack of high quality restaurants near the property.
