I will agree it was a bit difficult to find the entrance, but other than that, we loved the place. We did not expect an on-site staff...it's an apartment not a hotel. We loved the ambience of the old building interior, e.g. pine plank floors, natural stone step stairwells and the location was great. Decor was clean and tasteful....think moderate IKEA style. It was quiet and we are not young travelers "willing to overlook things" as previous reviewer stated. Hope to stay there again soon for a longer period. If we had wanted a luxury hotel, we would have stayed at the Hilton across the street. It felt as though we were on our own exploring a beautiful European city. Just what we wanted....manage expectations!

The location is just fantastic close to the old city public transportation and many pubs and bars. But still very quiet. The apartment is very nice but a bit strange. We were four people but it is actually one big room and there were no doors except for the bathroom. Everything was clean and comfortable, though one of the beds is just next to the bathroom door.
