Premier Inn Stockport Central

Nice size room and comfortable bed, had anything you would need for an overnight stay

Convenient for Stockport but be mindful that it is uphill from the centre. Car park needs repairs done, (potholes). Rooms need refreshing and brightening up, they are dark and dingy. Water pressure in our room was abysmal. Shower was virtually a dribble. When I mentioned it to reception staff I was told it was "just the area". Breakfast served at the Old Rectory pub next door was awful. Don't bother. Pastries didn't look fresh or appetising. Cooked food was tasteless and was either deep fried or cooked in an excessive amount of oil, (except the eggs, which was unusual). Left half of it. Juices were not that nice either. Worst breakfast we've had. We visit a few premier inns around the country, and this one is not as good as others.

We stayed in the Premier inn stockport for 1 night with my 2 girls whilst visiting Plouise make up academy. The man on the reception was welcoming and friendly. The beds were comfy and was as expected after staying in many premier inn hotels. Fab experience and would come back.

Expensive for a Premier Inn but perfectly acceptable and a good location close to Stockport centre. However the Premier Inn breakfast in the adjacent Old Rectory, which is a Hungry Horse establishment, was appalling. We waited almost an hour before our food arrived (unlike most Premier Inn's it's not self service) and then it was dry, overcooked and of poor quality. The toilet serving the restaurant had clearly not been cleaned since the night before and was covered in excrement and was unusable. Had we not had to pay in advance we would certainly have walked out.

The staff, very friendly. The room was very clean, well appointed, very comfy bed. Definitely go back there. The only let down was the approach road up into the hotel, bad pot holes definitely let's the hotel down, other than that a great stay. Thank you all the staff.

When we arrived we had a really warm welcome at the reception and presume the gentleman was the manager. Very friendly and had plenty of time for a laugh and a joke which is very exceptional nowadays. The room was extremely spacious well appointed spotlessly clean. The Hotel is a fantastic location for all amenities just short walks away ,Shopping, restaurants theatre and cinema. Stockport has a lot of history well worth a visit especially the Artdeco Plaza theatre. Definitely go again
