Worst experience to stay. Booked three rooms for family by seeing the online pictures available and that turned out to be biggest shock. The property is absolutely run down and needs a serious renovation. There are grave health and safety concerns with worn out stained carpets which were smelling badly. When complained to the front desk manager Mark he responded absolutely in an ill mannered way. There was no air conditioning inside rooms so had to keep the windows open for ventilation. Breakfast was another disaster. The space was unhygienic and smelly. Absolutely not recommended for stay

We stayed at this hotel twice in July due to a recent bereavement. The compassion and care that Mark and Gemma showed us was exceptional and brought us much comfort during this difficult time. Mark went over and above to make sure we had everything we needed, so much so that we quoted “the kindness of strangers”. Yes the hotel is a little tired but the beds were comfy and it was the kindness of the staff that left the lasting impression.

The hotel was disgusting with large stains on the carpet throughout the corridors, rooms, and restaurant area. The carpet has a strong, unpleasant odour. Bed sheet and towels has stain marks on them. Hotel requires complete renovation. It is not fit for the purpose. Hotel staff was not friendly and welcoming at all especially Mark who was sitting at reception. He was so rude and arrogant. It definitely needs air conditioning in the bedrooms. Pictures of the hotel posted online are also misleading as they are not showing the current condition of the hotel which is very bad...

Excellent welcome and very helpful receptionist. Very comfy bed, a little hot in the room but helped by supplied fan. Breakfast was delicious. Staff very friendly and attentive clearing our table very quickly. The healthy large plant in the breakfast room was a talking point.

We stayed here for our visit to the P Louise Empire and this hotel was spot on. From check in to check out was 10/10. My little girl got a little P Louise good bag which was a lovely touch, she absolutely loved it. When we got to the room there was also a little packet of rainbow sweets to celebrate pride weekend which was so nice. Place was clean, bed was super comfy and staff were so accommodating. Such a great wee hotel. Special shout to the man at reception (didnt catch his name) who was very welcoming. Cant fault this hotel for anything. The hotel was only around a 10 minute drive to the P Louise empire which was an added bonus.

Stayed for 1 night, had 2 rooms. Both rooms were to hot as no air con, windows only slightly, there are fans in the room but they don’t really cool the room down. We did get sheets instead of quilts for the bed. Rooms could do with better cleaning, both rooms had lots of dust, and just generally looking tired. Breakfast - my advice don’t bother.

This hotel is desperately in need of major renovation of all the public areas. The service, however, was excellent - especially from Crystal in the breakfast buffet. She single-handedly greeted and seated guests, took orders, served food and serviced tables, all with efficiency, courtesy and charm. Crystal is surely destined for hotel management. Brava, Crystal - and thank you!

This is a good standard Premier Inn despite its tired interior especially in the restaurant. Staff were helpful and friendly. Clean quiet room. Clean bathroom where every appliance worked perfectly. Easy access to centre of Manchester.

Very welcoming staff in the restaurant in particular. The food was much nicer than some of the others I’ve stayed at and tasted freshly cooked. Overall very happy with both the food and the service I received. Would recommend. Thank you 👍…..

The hotel is standard Premier Inn so you know what you are getting with the room, what I didn’t know was how wonderful the team were. I stayed for three months whilst working in the area and did the team make the stay so much more pleasurable, the service, the humour, the banter absolutely made it. So a big up for the chef and cooks for always delivering hot tasty food, to Mark, Gemma, Amanda and Debs (and daughter), to the other staff that had to put up with me in the morning at breakfast but especially to their esteemed leader Chantelle, who went the extra mile when I wasn’t very well. So thank you to one and all. The hotel might need a little work to freshen it up but the team is great just the way they are.

Had a 2 night stay and was quietly surprised..the check in was great Mark was super helpful and friendly..helia in the restaurant was very professional with her service and the food was very goog

Very nice hotel. Clean and tidy. Staff very friendly and helpful. I would like to mention Fara the breakfast lady, and chef Mark. They were amazing, very helpful, and friendly.

Rude staff who were just smoking outside. Dirty entrance. Having to wait 15 minutes to check-in despite my paying for early check-in. Room stank of stale cigarettes, boiling hot but aircon turned off and offered old dusty fan or a sheet to lie under to keep me cool. Would never ever visit again .
