Travelodge Wincanton

A large family group stayed in Wincanton TL yesterday. We got ourselves a bit mixed up with rooms, mislaid a few items of clothes, someone forgot which room they were in! Seonaid, the lovely lady at front office, couldn't have been more helpful and kind. She was so helpful, and patiently dealt with all of our comings and goings, with a cheery smile. We d like to say a big THANK YOU to Seonaid - you should be cloned! Love and thanks from Lesley and family 😊

When we arrived and was given our room, we was taken a back because we had booked a double room & the room had a single bed, you couldn’t even swing a cat , I returned to reception and he very kindly gave us another room which was just a double the next day we needed a second key to the room there was no one on reception but there was Seonaid was cleaning a room so I asked her who was on reception she said I deal with reception as well as cleaning the rooms so I said could we have a second key left what she was doing went straight to reception and gave us another key she was very friendly and very. professional and very well managed our stay was two days and every time he passed out she always said hi or good morning when we left she asked us about our stay and we said we had a lovely stay and with her lovely welcome and her professional manners this may all stay even better

No staff in sight and very dirty room with smelly blocked drains. Disgusting breakfast box which was not made clear upon ordering. Have stayed at many Travel lodge hotels in the past and never experienced anything as bad as this - would never stay again!!

Rooms clean, beds comfortable and staff very helpful. Would have been usefull to know in advance that single beds were limited, as my two sons (both over 6ft) had to use children size beds. Thanks to Seònaid for her warm welcome and for looking after us.

Does what it says on the tin For that Alan partridge experience nothing beats it. Lobby has AC a soft bench and a fire extinguisher and more. Don’t miss the budget rooms book early - spoken from minimally jaded experience! Take pets for a fee (was considering it)

The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. We requested up stairs room on the quiet side of the building which they provided. Facilities good, staff very friendly and helpful. Seonaid on welcome desk and Billy cleaned the room. Very nice stay big thanks to the staff.
