Good place for a solo traveller. Located conveniently in Stone town Zanzibar so you can easily explore. The room was basic enough for a solo traveller. Loved the services from the "Masaais".No specific hotel parking as Stone town has narrow streets

Nice hotel in the very heart of Stone Town. Great location, very beautiful garden. Great restaurant, very good prices. However, some things weren't that great: The safe box in the room wasn't working. They were fixing it for nearly an hour and couldn't. Then we had to change 3 more rooms with all our luggage to find one that actually had a safe box that was working. The whole process was quite frustrating to say the least. The first room we got was very nice, but the last one wasn't that good as the first one (much smaller and had some odd smell).

Stayed two nights – I was a walk-in after the place I had booked turned out to be unacceptable. Great location in the center of Stone Town. Price on the high side for the local standard. The property is attractive and reasonably well maintained. Some noise from the inner courtyard, but it generally quiets down after hours. The room was clean and had a kitchenette. Amenities included an electric kettle and a bottle of drinking water. Overall comfortable bed and pillows (mattress a little too soft for my taste). Mosquito nets around bed. Light switch and power outlets near the bed. Bathroom with everything in working order. Shower with good water pressure (a rarity in East Africa) and hot water. Wifi worked reasonably well, apart from logging you out after a short period of inactivity and requiring repeat log ins. Breakfast with reasonable selection. Overall a good stay.

· -great location, in the center of Stone Town -restaurant in big garden and a big swimming pool -everyday cleaning, in the evening housekeeping goes to the room and provide a mosquito spray to the bed and curtains -in the room is everything: a wardrobe, safety box, tv, bed, table, a chair; spacious bathroom, there is even a small kitchen -friendly staff -good breakfast, we also have there dinner and they have delicious food and good prices at the restaurant :)

Fantastic location, lovely staff, well equipped, spacious and comfortable rooms. Very nice (though over- chlorinated) pool. Decent restaurant and a fine breakfast spread. The spa facilities are good - I had a very deep massage at a reasonable price. WiFi is fine, the water is hot and the shower has power.

This is a quirky/oddball charming hotel experience. The rooftop garden with the pool is pretty amazing, the pool is a teensy bit murky but it doesn't seem to have done me any harm and the food is pretty good. The rooms have great A/C, they are somewhat dark (most seem not to have external windows) but the location is excellent and the staff are great, they'll book taxis etc and the ambience is generally very friendly. It's all situated around an internal courtyard garden, I wish I could have stayed longer.

Nice location, just 10 mnts from everything in stone town, rooms are spacious and very clean, toilets are also big and clean. The pool was an extra to relax after a working day. Breakfast was complete. I really High recommend this hotel and will come again for sure.

- staff was friendly but directly demanded the tourist fee during checking in - rooms are clean but very dark - breakfast was ok but the cats around are disgusting - please get them out of the area where the tourist are eating!!! They were jumping on the chairs and sometimes even tables and some other very intelligent tourists even started to feed them...well done !!! :( - for those who like Stone Town, this accomodation is located right in the center, but my brother and I couldn't win anything from Stone Town at all - very dirty and filthy town ship with lots of tourist rip off places - construction site right in front of our room
