Comfort Inn

Room was disgusting. Floor was not clean, food on the floor still, not vacuumed. Dirt on the bathtub made it look grimy. Front desk gave us a different room, same issue so they proceeded to look for over an hour for a “clean” room but could not find a clean room in their hotel. Apologized for their “housekeeping” issue. We departed their hotel for another city. Still have not received compensation, management have yet to acknowledge Booking.com’s correspondence requesting they acknowledge they cancelled/refunded my reservation after I departed their hotel. Do NOT stay in this hotel!

We had traveled from Corpus Christi, Texas on Sept 11 for a family emergency and stayed in Mason City, Iowa at your hotel, which turned into a nightmare but when we left there on 9/13 we were exhausted and decided we needed to sleep so we found this hotel on TripAdvisor. Read the reviews and stopped. What a blessing it was just what we needed to recharge after an emotional couple of days. The hotel was immaculate, staff so sweet and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing, the cinnamon rolls to die for, the lady in the breakfast room was checking this and cleaning and refilling constantly. I ask her about orange juice machine she quickly checked it restocked and brought me a fresh glass. This is rare these days to have employees so caring and helpful. I would give this hotel a 20 if possible. Just awesome. You can thank them for restoring our faith in your hotels. Thank you

Stayed one night. Room was ok. Duvet on one bed a bit dirty on top with small short hairs on it. Shampoo in shower empty. We came in very late that evening and were leaving early the next morning so only mentioned our concerns at check out. The breakfast was good and included many hot and cold items.

Stayed at this Comfort Inn enroute to Minnesota. Just off I-35, it was easy to locate in a safe, non-congested area. Affordably priced and included the typical cold/hot breakfast options. Room was clean and comfortable. A few dining options nearby and within walking distance. We would stay here again.

We stayed for one night when we attended a wedding near Story City, and I would have to say that this is one of the nicest Comfort Inns. Richard, the General Manager was very welcoming. The next morning Richard was taking care of the breakfast room. He did an excellent job making sure that breakfast was well stocked and that the items were replenished. The hot breakfast was excellent. Choices included scrambled eggs, 2 kinds of sausage, bacon, hashbrowns, biscuits and gravy, and waffles. Cereal, yogurt, breads, fruits were also available. Hotel room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable! We would definitely stay here again.
