Great family accommodation, stayed for two nights and the hosts gave us tips on what to see and do which was much appreciated. The rooms were large and comfortable and had everything we could have needed. Good location with only a ten to fifteen minute walk to either the historic railway or the Gordon River cruises.

This is by far the best stay we have ever experienced. Was like coming home, warm and welcoming with all facilities, spotlessly clean, great accomodation for us and the car. Beautiful balcony and great hosts. Didnt need to lift a finger. Lots little thoughtful extras. We decided to stay longer just because it was so beautiful... but alas, all booked out.... no wonder. Helpful communication before we arrived, together with friendly greeting and information provided about Strahan. A short pleasant walk along the waterfront to the village and to our Gordon River cruise. Unfortunately we arrived on a Sunday night and well-reviewed cafes were all closed, but we were in time to stock up on groceries from the IGA. Our studio unit 2 was very spacious and comfortable but was quite dark.

This place is run beautifully to provide a perfect holiday retreat. It’s located just a short, pretty walk along the river to the departure point for the World Heritage Cruise on the Gordon River. The unit is spacious, impeccably clean and well maintained, and provides generous basics (seasonings, sauces, oil etc) for easy self-catering. The free laundry was a bonus. Mick and Prue are friendly, helpful hosts. Thank you for a relaxing stay.

We stayed for two nights in Unit 2 which was adequate for our needs. The room was clean with basic furnishings though the bed was the hardest we slept on whilst in Tasmania. This is a great location, easily walkable to the Gordon River cruise check-in. We did find the numerous passive-aggressive notes regarding recycling and cleaning quite humerous and probably not necessary.

Beautifully presented two bedroom cabin, huge lounge / kitchen / dining perfect for a family looking for extra space. Short walk to wharf and restaurants. Fantastic hosts, super flexible, welcoming and informative with great local tips.

Stayed in unit 3. OMG magnificent. Upon arrival was met immediately by the host Prue who introduced herself to me with a lovely friendly greeting. Checking faultless. Accommodation 5***** in every aspect from in room to the laundry. Perfect area to everything in town. This is a place you could book in for a long stay and never feel closed in like other places. Do yourself a favour and stay here.

Very comfortable chalet style accommodation. Spacious and clean. The kitchen equipped with more than just the basics which made our impromptu bbq for 6 so much easier- oil, salt & pepper and tin foil together with a scrupulously clean communal bbq area with all the utensils. Reception staff very helpful on arrival. We were late arriving so couldn’t stay to pick their brains more as we had to chase off to the local play. Location ideal. Five minute walk into town. Directly opposite Risby Cove restaurant which was also great. Wonderful sunsets right across the road, reflecting over the harbour and close to embarkation for cruises on the Gordon River.
