Burnside Hotel

Just returned from a wonderful 5 night stay at the Burnside Hotel. The room was lovely with a very comfortable king size bed (my husband has a lot of back trouble and often struggles with hotel beds, but not here!) luxury furniture, power shower and coffee machine. We ate every night at the hotel and the menu offered such variety we were able to choose a different option every night, which is often not the case at a small hotel! The Sunday Roast Menu and the Curry Night Menu were great additions and the flexibility of options from the usual menu was also appreciated. Breakfast was freshly cooked and coffee and fruit juice were served at the table in abundance (we had the continental option one day too which was great, with fresh fruit, croissant and pain au chocolate). The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The whole place was so clean and well maintained - real attention to detail in the room and around the whole hotel. We can highly recommend this hotel and hope to stay there again ourselves!

We have had the most wonderful time at this hotel. Just 6 mins outside of Stratford. The staff are brilliant and food was superb. This is one place that we will definitely be coming back to. Everything was spotlessly clean. I must mention some staff Michelle, Nav and Minty. Warm smiling welcomes and great laughs along the way.

The room was immaculate and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel and restaurants were clean Sadly there’re was a £5 per night parking charge which we think should be free for guests especially as it was private property and a long way from the town centre so no one else would park there. The pre paid breakfast fee of £20 was a bit much as there was no buffet so the only breakfast that was value for money was the full breakfast, which I don’t eat and the vegetarian full breakfast was small. It was quite a lot extra on top of the £20 for a small portion of fruit, cereal, yogurt or a croissant. We ate dinner at the hotel on the first night but they got my drink wrong and my partner's dinner wrong. I had a Waldorf salad which was made with mustard dressing, which made it spicy and hot to eat.
