Buvik Sea Lodge Apartments

Rate experience 1. Building in shambles. Looks nothing like pictures in advertisements, or previous reviews. Exterior, decking, kitchen all have extensive water damage. Equipment on patio a pile of trash. We share this to save you time, money, and frustration.

We had a wonderful night here, it’s just as advertised, the views were spectacular and we could have stared out of those windows for years!! Hearing the waves beneath the lodge was perfect and we both slept very well. It was so relaxing, we cooked a nice meal and just enjoyed the peace and quiet. For any travellers, remember to bring all the food and drink you will need-including teas and coffees,milk etc. There are no shops nearby to walk to-however the owner did kindly offer to drive us if we hadn’t brought any food along!

Wonderful place, sauna with absolutely stunning view right on the fjord. Nice, comfortable and cosy apartment. Thank you for the warm welcome and seeing to our needs. Very considerate and kind host!!!

Buvika lodge is the place for recreation and romance. And if you feel like it-it's perfect for proposing. The ocean view is breathtaking and you can hear the waves beneath you while you are sitting on the porch, wrapped in a blanket with a glass of wine in your hand. The hosts are welcoming and friendly and up for a challenge if you have questions and wishes. It is a must to book the sauna and jacuzzi. And if you feel the wild woman in you-make a fire on the shore. I know one thing and that is that we are coming back:)

Great view, great spot, charming host, top accomodation. We got this all after an 1 hour drive from Tromsø. The accomodation is well equipped, good beds and bathroom. Our visit was in early July so we enjoyed late midnight summer evenings. On the day of departure we experienced Buvik Sea Lodge is ideally located close to the ferry towards Lofoten. Highly recommended.

Séjour d'une semaine fin novembre 2022. Espen le propriétaire est très sympa et m'a communiqué de nombreuses informations par messagerie et sur place. Une belle rencontre avec de bons conseils. Logement conforme aux photos il n'y a pas de mauvaise surprise. Cuisine équipée, cafetière, bouilloire, four et lave vaisselle. Excellente situation dans un cadre de rêve, au calme, au bord de l'eau et propice à l'observation des aurores boréales. Belle terrasse vue mer. Jacuzzi et sauna en supplément sur place. Parking juste devant le lodge. Sommaroy est à proximité et c'est mon coup de cœur de la région. Petit supermarché et 2 restaurants sur place. Bon spot pour observer les aurores boréales également. En cherchant vraiment du négatif qui ne m'a pas du tout dérangé je dirai qu'il manque un grille pain, micro onde et tables de chevet dans les chambres. Mais c'est vraiment anecdotique. Une chose est sûre c'est un excellent rapport qualité / prix et j'y reviendrai aussi bien en hiver comme en été. Merci Espen et à une prochaine fois.
