Hotel Flora

Estuvimos alojadas en una habitación triple con LAS TRES CAMAS de igual calidad, circunstancia que pocas veces se encuentra en los hoteles. El personal de recepción fue muy amable y solícito a nuestras peticiones. La habitación disponía de un baño renovado, sencillo pero muy completo. La ducha era de plato con una presión de agua caliente muy buena. el desayuno incluía fruta fresca, tostadora, todo tipo de repostería, etc etc siendo el personal que nos atendía extraordinariamente amable y solícito. La señora de la limpieza de la habitación siempre se mostró muy atenta y colaboradora. La distancia al centro de Stresa es de unos 12 minutos que se hacen cómodamente andando. Recomendaría este hotel!!

I visited here, as a solo traveller and stayed in quite a large, comfortable, beautifully presented single room, well priced, which I felt incredibly comfortable and at home in, with a lovely spacious balcony, looking partly over the gardens and covered in beautiful flowers..as was the whole hotel. The energy was lovely, the staff were so friendly and could not do enough for me, including giving me some free entrance tickets, another guest had not used, to visitl Isolo Bella and the most beautiful park, about an hours (lovely, walk away. Beautiful flora, with deer, goats, many birds and most incredibly a gigantic male peacock, that strutted around, freeling, showing off his beautiful tail. The small, garden was lush and perfectly maintained. The smell of perfumed Jasmine permeated the whole place. They had a small, but lovely and peaceful pool area and a lovely bar, where you are treated like royalty. A lovely restaurant, on site and I would highly recommend half board, as the food was lovely as were the serving staff. It was not central, but a pleasant walk, of around 20 minutes into the centre. Cleanliness was 10/10. I lovrd this weeks syay at The Flora and hope to return, as I was so sad to leave. A huge thank you to all who worked there. I shall return 🙏

We absolutely loved this Hotel , our room was on the 4th floor which gave fabulous views of the lake and the islands. The staff without exception were the friendliest we have encountered in a hotel , our room was very comfortable and kept spotlessly clean by the lovely Simona. The breakfasts were buffet style, very good and lots of choice. The hotel restaurant in the evening was exceptional for evenings when we didn’t want to walk back into stressa. For us the location was perfect as we enjoyed the 15 - 20 minute gentle scenic walk along the lake to get to the centre of stressa , the railway station was an easy 10 minute walk and the small harbour to catch a boat to the islands was just 5 minutes walk . We would absolutely stay at this hotel again Thank you to all the staff but special mention to William , Sara and Simona

Lovely hotel on the outskirts of Stresa. Staff could not have been more helpful. Special mention to William who did everything he could to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Great breakfast and great meal in the hotel restaurant. Look forward to coming back.

One of the best experiences I have ever had with a hotel. As the title says, it's a 3-star hotel, but should be at least 4. I booked a room with a view on the lake. It's been absolutely outstanding: super clean, new, well decorated, with all the amenities and spacious. The staff was very professional and kind. The building itself is pretty new, very clean, and nicely decorated (like a 4+ star hotel). Breakfast was included in the price, and offered food for any taste. Food quality was very high, even for Italian standards. I'd definitely come back to this hotel and I strongly recommend it.

I read some other reviews and really do not understand what people expect ..... This is a small and very reasonably priced hotel. But, yes, it is on o main road and so there is inevitably some traffic noise. So if you can, I would strongly advise booking a lake facing room at the back of the hotel. The staff are excellent, hard working, efficient and helpful. But yes, if you want a beer, you will probably need to ask the receptionist, but she will immediately serve you... We stayed a week and at the end were going to lake Orta for 3 days. The day before we left we decised to hire a car from the car hire ofice a 5 min walk away. As this was shut on a sunday. when we needed to return it and head to the airport from Stresa, Hotel Flora, with minimum fuss and at no charge, kindly allowed us to return the car to their carpark, hand in keys to their reception,,,,, and all this of course, 3 days after we had left the hotel. How helpful is that ? As well as being a 5 minute walk from the ferries, the train station is only a 10 min walk away, So as well as boat trips, we also took the train to Milan for a day and also to Domodossola another day, both of which I would recommend if you are in Stresa for some time. We never ate in the hotel as we enjoyed the 20 minute scenic walk into Stresa centre for dinner of an evening.
