Premier Inn Manchester Old Trafford

Good for short stay as walking distance to Old Trafford

No surprises, no delights. As expected so we booked a practical location, with parking ( didn’t realise overnight fee is £6 as often it’s free at Premier inn for overnight guests) and standard amenities. Bathroom shower curtains had some smell otherwise standard cleanliness. Breakfast a slight miss as most Premier Inn can do a better cooked English full breakfast. Given our purpose and location of hotel, we would stay again.

I stayed here for a night to attend a training course nearby and have to say this is the best Premier Inn I’ve ever stayed in. The room was very good with a very good standard bathroom too. Due to the proximity to the football ground I was expecting this Premier Inn to be quite worn and tired but it turned out to be quite the opposite. I had a great nights sleep and would recommend this place. Bear in mind there is a £8 parking charge on non march days.

We visited this hotel in March and had a fabulous experience. We returned again on the 10th of April. This experience was just as good. The hotel room was very clean along with the communal areas. We had a lovely experience with all staff members Debbie the receptionist was brilliant along with the other two ladies, we encountered hotel manager he was lovely and very helpful along with amiee she was brilliant with us who extended our stay at the hotel. She was very helpful kind friendly and brilliant with the children and Credit to Jo as well. The restaurant/bar itself was very clean and the selection of food was very good. We ate there every night over our three nights stay. Credit goes to the kitchen staff for preparing the lovely food , kard,Vlad,jasmine thank you. Also credit to the front of house staff they we’re also kind and very helpful so a big thank you to Debbie and Dorcas and a special mention to Katie who was ever so kind and helpful to my daughter Katie who was fond of her because she had the same name as her. And a thank you to jade who was kind and helpful. The staff we encountered our credit to the company. We have booked in again for two nights on 19th may. It’s such a good hotel I would recommend people go and stay there and eat. Thank you all from the Lane family, see you all soon

Great hotel! Really good location, close to Man United ground and to Media City. Room clean and fast check in. Really friendly staff from reception to the restaurant!! Thank you to Alex and Dorcas for an excellent service at dinner time. Definitely will come back again!!

Room heating didn't work. 2 beds, but only 1 duvet supplied. After trudge to front desk, receptionist switched on the heating, but could not / would not offer upgrade to 2nd duvet (would have happily paid), so one of us froze half the night. Restaurant area tired - linings ripped and hanging down under many chairs, some of which padly patched or worn, dirty carpets etc. Breakfast was good but quality of evening meals frankly horrific. Hard to imagine less appetizing food for the money. Service was terrible - showed us to table and then no one came to take a drinks order. 20 mins before anyone asked for food order. Restaurant was quiet - next family who came in sat wondering why no one came, actually came over and asked us how you get served. Having just experienced the food we said to be careful what you wish for....Room was clean and beds and bathroom good. It's a hotel that basically could do with some love and staff who care. Shame, not the Premier Inn we remember.
