Premier Inn Manchester Old Trafford

No surprises, no delights. As expected so we booked a practical location, with parking ( didn’t realise overnight fee is £6 as often it’s free at Premier inn for overnight guests) and standard amenities. Bathroom shower curtains had some smell otherwise standard cleanliness. Breakfast a slight miss as most Premier Inn can do a better cooked English full breakfast. Given our purpose and location of hotel, we would stay again.

The Staff that wee saw on arrival were welcoming and very helpful and checked us in. The room was as a premier inn exactly as it should be it’s was Excellent. Tv,kettle,hair dryer, hanger's,towels all to use. Bed and pillows where extremely comfy and was very fresh. I would give a full Stars rating for everything, but I have reduced one just on the behalf of having to pay to park even as a resident

This is my second review of this Premier Inn. We first stayed here in 2022 and have since stayed a number of times while my husband and son have been to football at Old Trafford. On Friday 7th February, myself, my husband and our son (aged 10) had been to the football game at Old Trafford. On this occasion, we didn't book to stay over because we had to get back home for work commitments the next day. We had parked the car a 15-20 minute walk away in a matchday parking car park and after the game finished at 10pm we walked back to where we thought the car was. 2 hours later we were still walking about in circles looking for the car, all the streets looked the same and our son was starting to get scared wandering the cold and dark streets at midnight. We decided the safest thing to do was to get an Uber taxi from where we were looking for the car, back to the stadium and go into the Premier Inn. We didn't have a key card to get into the premier inn as we weren't staying there and the doors were locked at this point so we pressed the buzzer and a gentleman from reception came to the door. We explained we needed some help and he could see we were distressed with having our son with us and he let us come into the reception area. I didn't catch the man's name but there was also a lady at work too who was also extremely helpful. They suggested we called the police and explained to them, which we did. Unfortunately the police told us there was nothing they could do to help, the car would be where we left it and to ring back if the car had been stolen! Unfortunately, the premier inn had no availability for a room, but the lovely staff allowed us to sit in the reception area while we found a nearby place to stay with availability. We left there at around 12.30am when we got another Uber taxi to take us to the accommodation we had managed to book. We are extremely grateful and thankful for the kindness shown from the reception staff that night. My son was really upset and the man and lady were really kind and told him not to worry and he was safe inside now. We will be back staying at this premier inn again in the future, every time we have stayed we've found everyone so friendly and will always be grateful for their kindness. Thank you.

Rooms lovely and spacious, clean and tidy. Comfy beds, and great breakfast options. Lovely friendly staff. Brilliant location, right by a tram stop making travel to/from city center really easy and accessible. The Salford quays just over the way for food drinks and entertainment. Very Close location to Manchester Victoria warehouse music venue, which is why we were staying here! Also United football ground, if you’re attending games.

Staff go out of their way to help you. Nothing is too much trouble. The bar is busy but again staff are very helpful. Looking forward to a big hearty breakfast in the morning before our journey home. The Premier Inn experience rarely disappoints
