Good: friendly staff, the pool Bad: could be more clean, the pictures look better than the reality

We missed the last ferry to the island, so emailed them at night to let them know. We arrived the next morning at 10:00 but the hotel is sooooo far away, no exaggeration but probably the last hotel on the island, so location no ideal. The front desk tells us they gave our room away but not to worry they will give us a refund for the first night (spoiler alert, it was a lie). We didn't get a room until 15:30 because they were still cleaning. No problem, we didn't show up on time and they made money from another guest, so no harm but nope, they are greedy and want everyone's money. The pool is filthy and never cleaned, so you only sit by the chairs. They either run out of stuff or charge extra for anything that they do have. I get it's an island but no need to rob on the island. The room was supposed to be facing ocean but no real views, so if you don't listen to my warning to pick a different hotel, don't pay extra for a view because it just doesn't exist. I would never stay here and would recommend everyone to stay away. There are better options on the island. If you don't believe me, you will once you get there.

Struttura con potenzialità ma non sfruttate da ristrutturare

Struttura bella ed accogliente. Le ragazze della reception sono molto carine e disponibili. Vicinissimo alle calette di Balordi, grotta di Eolo e alle spiagge principali.

Hotel in ottima posizione, dotato di una gran bella piscina, semplici e pulite le camere, sufficiente la colazione, personale gentile e disponibile. Buona struttura dove passare volentieri più di qualche giorno.

Hotel muy acogedor, con una bonita piscina con el volcán de fondo

We stayed one night at hotel La Sciara in June. The accommodation was about one kilometer away to the west-northwest of the port of San Vincenzo and was easily accessible by taxi, but also on foot. It was pleasantly quiet there. The room was fairly clean and was quiet. The view from the pool was unsurpassed with a beautiful view of the smoking Stromboli volcano. The pool was lovely and clean with a terrace around it with sun loungers. The breakfast buffet was very tasty. The staff were very friendly.

Our experience at La Sciara was an over the top expectation exceeded. The highlights were definitely focused around the private terrace with a private, stylish, creative cocktail bar. The sunset view from the terrace high above the sea exceeded all expectations, but the added delight of the new? sauna, steam room and "Russian" style bucket shower was over the top. The pool, the menu and the hospitality were awesome. We are returning in September

Ho soggiornato in questa struttura per qualche giorno a luglio ma , a parte una discreta colazione, ho trovato la struttura vecchia: la stanza era piccola e poco accogliente con veduta sul retro dell'hotel. Ma la cosa per la quale lo sconsiglierei è la mancanza di professionalità dello stuff.Mi è capitato di dimenticare il caricatore del mio nuovo iphone nella stanza ( un caricatore di nuova generazione del valore di 60euro).Quando ho chiesto di spedirmelo a mie spese si sono mostrati disponibili. Purtroppo, però, il corriere non è riuscito a ritirare il pacco ( non so perchè) per cui loro si sono giustificati dicendo che i corrieri non facevano più ritiri sull'isola e me lo avrebbero fatto trovare nel loro hotel di Messina per un nuovo ritiro.Intanto è passato un mese in cui al telefono si giustificavano con una serie di scuse.Quando ormai avevo perso le speranze ,è arrivato il pacco ( per altro mai reindirizzato a Messina, segno evidente che è stato ritirato a Stromboli), ma sorpresa delle sorprese, non era il mio caricatore ma uno vecchio di 10 modelli fa. Quando l'ho fatto presente, il manager della struttura ha fatto finta di cercare tra i caricatori dimenticati ma naturalmente non lo ha trovato! Intanto è passato un altro mese ... Certo per un hotel 4 stelle c'è davvero da piangere! Sconsigliato!

Sono stato con mia moglie per trascorrere qualche giorno nella meravigliosa Stromboli. Le foto del sito ingannano e risalgono a qualche anno fa. Ora la struttura è quasi fatiscente soprattutto all’esterno. Non c’è più il ristorante, a parte il pranzo da considerarsi piuttosto poco soddisfacente. Il servizio è il personale non è all’altezza. Ho chiesto una bevanda alle 9:30 di sera ma ho dovuta andarla ad acquistare fuori dall’hotel. Peccato, la struttura sarebbe molto bella se venisse risistemata.

Posizione perfetta per trascorrere una vacanza. Proprio sotto l hotel ci sono delle calette da far invidia ai Caraibi. Soggiorno in hotel reso ottimo Grazie alla professionalità e gentilezza del personale. Adorabili Martina ed Asia le ragazze del servizio ristorazione, Miriam e Martina le receptionist, ma la punta di diamante è Rosi la governante , di una professionalità incredibile , tale da far dimenticare le piccole imperfezioni dell hotel . Consigliato

Weekend stupendo presso l’isola di Stromboli in questa struttura bellissima. Camere e servizio impeccabili, staff disponibilissimo in location incantevole con piscina meravigliosa. Sicuramente ci riverrò ! Lo consiglio a chi voglia vivere un esperienza di relax in un panorama mozzafiato!

Ho trascorso alcuni giorni in questa bellissima struttura. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile;le camere sono dotate di ogni confort. Bellissima piscina posizionata di fronte al vulcano… una vista mozzafiato! Sicuramente ci torneremo !
