Stayed here for 1 night on a work trip and the thing that stood the most to me is how very clean and well presented the room was. Everything was just so clean and well presented. Very nice modern room and modern bathroom. The host was also very friendly and helpful. 2 minutes away from the ferry is a bonus. Would definitely recommend

Just an excellent stay. The host is so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The rooms are immaculate. Food is delicious. It is a quick 20 minute walk to the village centre and the bus is right outside the door! The bus goes everywhere on the island. Highly recommend staying at Lindisfarne!

Hostess & host were both very friendly & responsive. Everything was clean & comfortable. Guest had a shared tv room with several comfortable sofas. Breakfast was very good and generous. Ensuite had a very good shower and host cleaned every day and made beds. Great view above Stromness, across pasture with cows. Thank you!!

I stayed at the b&b while I was stranded on the island due to bad weather I had 2 nights there , the service was second to none , The breakfast was beautiful and Deborah couldn't do enough for you . Had a later ferry and they didn't have an issue with me and another guest staying in our rooms until we were ready to head for the ferry . My room was spotless and very comfortable with a very nice bathroom . They had a guest sitting room which is nicely set out . Would definitely recommend to anyone . we stayed in the self catering annex to the b & b and found it was lovely, clean and everything you needed. a perfect base to explore the island. as the island was small we were able to cram in lots of the sights in the 5 day holiday we booked. deborah and kevin were the perfect hosts. very friendly and helpful. deborah kindly made us a cooked breakfast everyday ( for a small charge naturally) which set us up for the days exploring. would definitely recommend as a first choice for staying on the island. the only thing i could find fault with was it was difficult to find at first. the postcode showed up a good half mile on the sat nav from where it was and the signposting wasn't the best but once found we knew where it was so no further problem. really loved our stay. thank you deborah and kevin

Fantastic accommodation only let down by the extremely hard beds. A good Topper would make all the difference. Mattress had no built in topper and was your straight sprung Mattress. We had an early ferry and breakfast was left out for us to collect on our way out the door in the morning. Our hostess was very welcoming and would definitely stay again.

We were met by the owners and shown to our upstairs room – we had a lovely view out over the countryside. The room was spacious with a queen size bed, a seating area, tea and coffee making and an ensuite bathroom. The room and bathroom were very clean and well presented, and located in a quiet, peaceful rural setting. There is also a communal lounge for guests to use. A full cooked breakfast was available and served in the dining room the next morning – again all very well presented by our hosts. Parking directly outside on the street. Good fast wifi is included. We would definitely stay again.

As another reviewer said - one of 5he best b&best I've stayed in. Room 5. Spacious, bright, comfortable, spotless, very up to date facilities. Large bright comfortable common room with great views and a library of books and such about Orkney. Delicious breakfast, lots of choices. Easy access from Stromness by car, or 20 minute walk if you want some excercise. Hosts are friendly and helpful, clearly know what they're doing.

A lovely new house. Very clean, tidy and with very comfortable, en suite, bedrooms in a quiet area, but still close to Stromness. There is a relaxing residents sitting room and a grand Scottish breakfast sets you up for the day. Thank you to our friendly, helpful hosts Deborah and Kevin.

Fantastic stay here. The host was incredibly welcoming and advised us of what was and wasn’t open for food at the time of year (March). Rooms were incredibly clean and well catered for. Beds were comfortable and the area is quiet. Parking isn’t a problem. Don’t need to say any more - well worth it.

We arrived on a dark, rainy and windy night and it was so nice to have a place close to the ferry dock. Deborah was very welcoming and the room was spotlessly clean. We had a very comfortable night sleep and woke up to see cows just outside. Breakfast was delicious and generous. Deborah gave us some great recommendations beyond the typical Orkney site and our visit to Yesnaby ended up being one of our best trip memories. We loved meeting Deborah and wished we had stayed longer in her beautiful home.

We were made to feel so welcome, arriving at 11.30 pm from the late ferry. Room spacious, clean and comfortable. Large ensuite bathroom, hot drink making facilities, fantastic views over Stromness. Good parking. Guest lounge, available 24/7. Huge breakfast choice, ordered the day before. Everything you could possibly want and more, all freshly cooked together with cereals, yoghurts, juices fruit...the list is endless and we ate far too much! Deborah and Kevin made us so welcome . We felt like they enjoyed having us stay! This isn't just a business, you can tell they enjoy what they do and they do it very well. They gave us lots of advice about where to go and what to see. We stayed for 9 nights. and we were sad to leave. There is so much to see and do ....we will have to return.

Arrived late off the Aberdeen Ferry, we then had a 20 minutes drive to the B&B. Only booked in for one night as were travelling on to Sanday to visit family. Kev showed us to our rooms which were really clean and comfortable, just what we needed after a long day travelling. The ensuit bathroom had shower toiletries available and there was a decent hairdryer in the chest of drawers. We were given forms to order breakfast for the morning. The breakfast was great with bacon, sausage and haggis from the local butcher. Lots of choice of cereals, yoghurt, fruit plus full Scottish brakfast available. Good filter coffee and pots of tea and various fruit juices. We had a great nights sleep and would definitely recommend this B&B.
