We returned from our 2 day stay with you on Sunday feeling relaxed, refreshed and like we had had a longer break than the two days. We wanted to pass on our thanks to all the staff that we meet during our stay, We felt that they all had a warm and welcoming approach, maintain good humour and their own personalities whilst delivering excellent customer service. It is a little bit of a shame that we had prebooked two local restaurants in Nailsworth for our stay as we can certainly say that the breakfasts and the light lunch we had on arrival were all first class. We thank you, will always recommend you and wish you continued success

My husband, teenage son and I stayed at this wonderful little hotel for three nights. The rooms were perfect, simple and very clean. The staff were very attentive and helpful. We had lovely roast Sunday lunch and evening dinners. Top notch!

A little Gem. Booked this for a 50th Birthday and was greeted to the warmest of welcomes. Went above and beyond to make our day/evening extra special. Beautiful country pub that serves fantastic food and lovely accommodation. Will visit again.

Booked this venue as a 21st wedding anniversary surprise. The place food and rooms were 5 star. The attitude of the bar staff was atrocious . Advertised from 8am till 11pm then forced out at 9pm. Accused of being aggressive when questioning the Advertised opening hours . The staff were rude and obnoxious towards us and even removed the opening hours on the wall.please don't stay here

The food was exceptional as we sampled their catering service for a wedding. The quality of the ingredients and the cooking was top-notch, and the service was everything we could have hoped for. Absolutely outstanding! Very highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful dining experience at the restaurant, particularly with the fantastic lady who served us. The cocktails were enjoyable, and the food was delicious. We stayed for 2 nights, and while the rooms could use some maintenance, and the noise from upstairs taps was a bit bothersome, the staff were excellent, and the location was charming. It would have been thoughtful if they could have called to inform us about the trousers we left behind. Overall, it's a nice place to stay.

We stayed on a Travelzoo deal for 2 nights. Room was lovely and comfortable. What made the trip was the amazing staff who couldn’t do enough for you. We ate both nights in the restaurant and the food was superb. Thank you for a great couple of days.

We were very pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Quaint yet upgraded, the rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The included made to order breakfast was delicious. We managed to forget on of our bags and they were very accommodating in getting it packed up for a FedEx pickup. The staff were very friendly and the beer was cheap. Nuff said!

Wonderful night staying here, very comfortable bed and great en suite. Breakfast delicious and filling. Had dinner there too, lovely. Stuffed with 2 great meals our relations we had come to visit treated us to lunch at Ragged Cot after we’d said how lovely it was (they are local but hadn’t been since a bad experience 20 years ago!). We all enjoyed it so much but think I must have put on 1/2 stone in 2 days! We will return soon.
