Hotel Bozica Dubrovnik Islands

Beautifully situated Hotel with excellent staff, good food and wonderful views. For a quiet, classy holiday, this is a great choice. The qaint nearby village or Sudurad is a 10-minute stroll away. A couple of bars near the port, but no restaurants worth a mention. The Bozica's restaurant and the one right next door to the hotel are the best bet. A 2.5 euro bus ride to the port of Luka is worth it for more of a selection. Konobe Taurus was excellent .

Simply stunning in every way. The staff cannot do enough, the food is amazing and location paradise. Breakfast has everything including sausage and bacon. Very quiet island with bus to Luka (few more snack bars/shops) Take sea shoes for sea urchins, road at back of hotel leads to village as does a rugged track at the front. My partner tore his calf whilst there and wow! They were so so helpful even gave us a lower floor room to save steps. My only regret is I was out of cash to tip them enough but thank you so much. Perfect 10 stars +

The location of this hotel and all outside and public areas are 5 star. Honestly one of the most beautiful locations I’ve ever stayed in. Every morning I was in awe of where we were. Be wanted this is a very quiet holiday. A handful of restaurants on this side of the island and a bus ride to a slightly busier port, but this was perfect for what we wanted and your only an hour from Dubrovnik on the ferry. The downside was our room was one of the ones in the roof and we only had a skylight. Such a shame to not be able to see the beautiful view.It also had a sloped ceiling in the bathroom and bedroom which was problematic. The air conditioning broke a few times as did the TV so when my husband was poorly one night being in the room was a little depressing. I did ask to be moved rooms but they said they were full and they did fix the air conditioning and TV. If our room had been nicer I’d have wanted to give this holiday 6 stars. Breakfast every morning was outstanding and the lady who worked there every morning was fantastic. We had one meal at the hotel which was also amazing. Tips Eating and drinking at the hotel is expensive and there isn’t much else choice. There is a little shop where we brought beers and lunch to keep the costs down. There is an amazing family run restaurant next door which you could easily miss. Don’t! The ferry timetable is reduced on weekend and bank holidays so plan your off island trips in the week.

We just had the best holiday ever at Hotel Bozica on Sipan Island an hour from Dubrovnic. It is in the most beautiful spot accessible only by boat. The hotel is small and very friendly, the views, the food, the staff all add up to a perfect holiday. The hotel is beautiful and has everything you need whilst still bring relaxed. I have never taken so many photos! The water is SO clear, a delight to swim in the pool or the sea. WE LOVED IT.

We LOVED our stay at Hotel Bozica. It was exactly how I thought it would be. It’s picture perfect and steeped in traditional European grandeur. I would really recommend the speed boat transfer, the driver from the airport was lovely and the boat was just fantastic! The hotel is set over several levels (there is a lift) on the cliff face. The pool is fairly small but is a beautiful setting and there’s plenty of loungers and seating by the bar. We preferred to sunbathe by the sea, which is just glorious. There were plenty of well spaced out loungers, and it is super relaxing to watch the boats come and go. Breakfast is fab - plenty of choice, breads, meats, eggs in various ways and lots of fruit. It’s also a gorgeous setting to eat. The room was well equipped with a modern bathroom and the views are just beautiful! The island of Sipan is small, and there’s only a handful of restaurants (5 including the hotel, Bowa and the restaurant next door) in the Sudurad area. We didn’t go to the other end of the island though where there are a couple more. If you’re a runner / hiker there are trails near by, it is hilly though! There were also warning signs for wild boars which put me off the trails a little for early morning runs. Overall I loved this hotel and would love to return!

This hotel seemed a bit expensive for what was on offer. Very small rooms which were poorly furnished - just old fashioned rather than boutique style! Transfer to and from the hotel was excellent. The view was amazing and we did enjoy our time by the sea on the terraces. Sun-bed provision was good, but please clear away the broken umbrellas and sun-beds which were pushed to the back of the cliffs. Restaurant food was very good but very pricey (and not at all appropriate for lunch) - the couple of restaurants in the harbour were much better value with a friendlier atmosphere. Overall we did enjoy our stay and appreciated the beauty of the island.
