My partner and I took a two-week bus tour of the UK and Ireland in September 2024 with Globus. The tour itself was OK but, except for a couple nice ones, most of the hotels they provided were horrible. They were small, old, run-down, poorly lit, and dingy. Globus, in their brochure, promised first-class hotels for the trip but they deceived us in this. I would not rate them even three stars. This was very disappointing and took away a lot from the enjoyment of the trip. Please be aware that this is a second-rate travel company. Pick another one if you can. The trip itself was not good value!

We used this hotel for approx 15 years somtimes for three weeks at a time. We were more than happy with it and the price. It now seems that they are pricing themselves out the market. It's totally overpriced. Still no extra loungers. Can't request a room as they won't guarantee you get the specific room. Sorry Balkan but it's your last. Plenty other good hotels for half the price. Bye Bye.

I've been coming to Bulgaria for 10 years and stayed here before which was better than this newly refurbished bit all the waitresses staff could not be better but as for the managers except the night time 1 John were the rudest off off people didn't care came for a 2 week stay and was moved rooms 3 times the first room I was in was in was shocking no air con what's so ever the temperature un the room at night was 36 degrees I was assured thT because it was the weekend the couldn't get the parts to fix it because the hardware shops would be closed wee stuck it out as long as wee could my partner had to sit on the balcony all night as couldn't sleep at all on the early hours off Sunday morning she fell asleep on the balcony and twisted her hole kneck so we're moved till a room with a tiny bit off air con and a fan my partners who holiday has been ruined by it she lift her head all the when she's out off the room all the guests are asking me is that your partner what happened to her balkin holidays are a disgrace for advertising this hotel it should not be opened its not completed I spoke to the rep and he very close to being hit no sympathy at all kept sticking up for the hotel smirked about my partners kneck she went to cyropractoer twice and she's still the same the food was very samll opions and cold and the pool was stinking with bird fieces which wasnt clenned 1 time will wee were here every other person in the hotel got £100 per person back and 20% discount wee got offered nothing shame on the owners for wanting to make a few pounds openning early ad shame on balkin for advertising it rooms are beautiful degin but threw together so they could open wall paper peeling off the walls peoples showers leaking all over the floor because the showers haven't been sealed b
