West Coast Wilderness Lodge

We stayed in Lodge 10 (3 separate apts for my adult children and their children. Spotless and new with outstanding views. Easy check in. We chose shoulder season (early April) so restaurant choices were limited but we knew and were fine with it. Would definitely stay again. It was wonderful !

Spent a wonderful, relaxing 2 nights at the West Coast Wilderness Lodge in mid-August. The food was fantastic, the staff are very professional and the views are the best on the Sunshine Coast. The weather one day was a little cool and damp but a lovely relief from the summer heat, especially when you’ve got a good book and a fantastic view. I highly recommend the lodge and was excited to see that the cliff side expansion on the adjacent property above the Egmont Adventure Centre are coming along nicely. Next year there will even be more great view-decks available !

West Coast Wilderness Lodge is a special play to stay, which we did for our 25th wedding anniversary. The setting is so beautiful, the staff is friendly and accommodating, the facilities are comfortable. Would definitely return again if we visit Egmont.

This is a beautiful property with incredible views. There is something for everyone when it comes to "things to do". The restaurant is excellent, and the staff was excellent as well. We will definitely return.

We arrived just before summer season started, were upgraded from forest view to water view room-a great start. Our room had a large covered balcony overlooking the water, furnished with a large settee and chair-all good so far. The dining room was exceptional, both its view and menu. Great choices all included in the price, except as our three day stay carried on, fewer and fewer items were available-supply issues, apparently. Good service. Two surprises in a place of this calibre and price. Room service was unavailable-no bed making, towel changing, etc. and for the price, bath robes would have been nice. The lodge partners with an adjacent company providing boat trips up Princess Louisa Inlet-a must. We had booked in advance, discovered after arrival that their only option was an open zodiac, which would have been unpleasant in the cool, overcast weather we experienced. They were gracious in letting us out of our reservation after we found another outfit next door with a covered boat, which was a great experience.

Thank you to all the staff at the West Coast Wilderness Lodge for your excellent hospitality and customer service. My husband and I booked the elopement package and took the float plane to Chatter Box Falls where we exchanged our vows. The wedding coordinator at the lodge arranged all the details for our big day, allowing us to sit back and enjoy the ride :) We were glad we arrived at the lodge a few days before which provided time for us to truly relax and unwind before the big day. We enjoyed hiking the area as well as a private sunset kayak where we saw seals frolicking in the water. Our suite was perfect as it had a majestic view overlooking the ocean and mountains. Dining at the lodge is top notch as the gourmet menu does not disappoint. We highly recommend the West Coast Wilderness Lodge for anyone seeking a non-traditional, unique wedding experience.
