Review: A New Year’s Nightmare – Stay Away! We had the most appalling experience at this hotel during New Year’s. Despite paying a premium, the stay was riddled with issues that completely ruined our holiday. To begin with, the shower area near the pool didn’t even have a functioning shower, and the towels provided were torn. Upon raising complaints, we were shifted to a bungalow that was worse—it reeked of unwashed socks, the doors didn’t shut properly, and the interior doors were also faulty. To make matters worse, my brother got stuck in the bathroom because the door wouldn’t open. He was trapped inside for 20 minutes before anyone responded, and even then, the staff took their time addressing the issue. After this ordeal, we were moved yet again to two suite rooms. However, the problems persisted—the electrical switches didn’t work, and the shower areas were filthy. To compensate, we were offered a complimentary spa, but even that turned out to be a disappointment. The towels in the spa were stinking, which made the experience unbearable. The manager who assisted us with the final villa questioned what more we could possibly expect from them, which was incredibly unprofessional and insulting. Adding to the frustration, the general manager didn’t even bother to show up or take accountability, nor were we offered a refund for this miserable experience. The hotel’s photos online are highly misleading and don’t reflect the poor conditions they actually provide. Spending New Year’s here was a grave mistake. The lack of basic hygiene, poor maintenance, and dismissive management made this stay intolerable. For the amount they charge, you’re better off choosing a more reliable property. It was a memorable stay amidst the beautiful coffee plantation. The staff was extremely hospitable and courteous. Thanks to Mr. Sangeet and his team for making our trip enjoyable with best of the hospitality and services. We would definitely love to visit again.

I had an amazing stay at wind flower The location was beautiful, the staff was friendly especially sachin,krithika,shathanu etc…and attentive, and the amenities were top-notch. From the stunning views to the great dining options and luxurious spa, it was the perfect getaway. Highly recommend!

A friend recommended me to try Windflower Resorts when I asked for suggestion. I booked my Family and myself a Villa room for the long weekend vacation during Diwali. It was a mind-blowing experience right from the start. At the check in, Mr. Sachin & Mr.Kumar at the front office were very welcoming , helpful, and courteous. Mr. Sangeeth Sundar , the GM, was also present throughout. He was hands-on through our stay there, taking care of our stay, food & experience. Mr Sangeeth ensured that there was a personal touch to everything. The facilities were very good, but more than anything, I was overwhelmed by the service at the restaurant. Would like to mention Mr.Ali at the restaurant for his services and what delicious food we had, prepared by Mr Mancharan , the Chef. He was very quick in understanding our choice of food and served excellent food. I would like to congratulate Mr. Sangeeth for such excellent services and having such a wonderful team lined up to give us a very memorable experience. Keep it up!!!

We booked the windflower coorg for the long diwali weekend of 31st to 3rd Nov for 2 rooms for 6 adults plus children. We were upgraded from a suite to a jacuzzi villa with the jacuzzi being outdoor and unheated. From the first day it was a disaster. We arrived around 4.30pm and checked in. Were given villa 22 and 23. Trouble started soon after with the electricity going off for both villas. After waiting half an hour and no means of contacting the reception since intercom was dead (no power) we found some maintenance person who opened a power box and found that it had tripped. This repeated again after a while. The next day we had to repeatedly call the front desk on whatsapp (since the intercom conked off) for cleaning the outdoor area and the open jacuzzi (not even covered because the cover net was dirty) but to no avail. Housekeeping turned up after several hours to clean the rooms but didn’t give us fresh towels. We had to follow up and got them after 2 hours. To top it all electricity kept tripping every 15 mins and we started resetting it ourselves since there was no one around and with the pathetic service experience. Only after we escalated to the manager was the power box finally fixed after a long wait at 5pm. The manager promised us better service and from then on we could see better and timely service from the staff. We got some complimentary massages for our trouble. Food was the only saving grace with decent variety. No proper kids play areas except for bigger kids and nothing much to do except to sit in the room. The rooms are at a slope and they have just one omni van to take guests to and fro dining which is very poor planning. Hope windflower management take this feedback seriously and improve maintenance, service levels and facilities else people will avoid this place and windflower brand will take a hit. In short i don’t think i will ever want to visit here again. Ever. Tips: People with small kids and senior citizens pls avoid this property.
