Aminess Vival Casa Velaris

My wife ,Tami and I just had our 20th wedding anniversary on May 20, a couple of weeks before, I had contacted staff to see how they could surprise my wife, well they exceeded expectations, by having cake, a bottle of champagne, and personal anniversary cards from the staff, Tami was surprised and completely blown away , wonderful job! Staff was very friendly and professional, we felt like part of the family! Hotel was nice and clean and clearly exceeded our expectations. Thank you Aminess!!!

Arrived on Saturday for a 3 night stay and our room was #217 top floor in the corner and the sun being on the balcony when we came up from the pool . Room and bathroom very large and clean for a superior room . Pool area was clean and towels got from reception , it is still out of season too so it’s quiet no beach bar or wellness centre open till later in month . It is a 15 min stroll into the town / port area and lots of places to eat and drink and the ferry terminal to Split . Also you can get the bus around the island or a private taxi guided tour for the day . The gardens are green and tidy and a small gym and tennis court . Most beaches are pebbles in Croatia so don’t come to expect sand . Lucia the reception and other members were very helpful and so was Boris in the bar lovely guy . Would recommend this hotel for a short break away .

Great hotel about a kilometre outside of Supetar, which made for a nice walk into town each evening. Hotel is surrounded by lavender which makes a nice atmostphere. Rooms are very spacious, though looking very high quality at first, upon inspection have a few issues (loose wiring/plugsockets). Pools is small but good, and the swimming bay/beach is great. Avoid the beach bar, and the breakfast was fairly dire but can't say enough good things about the spa - lovely staff, and excellent good value treatments.

This hotel does not respect reservations. I reserved a double bed room and specifically added a note that we are on our honeymoon. But they gave us a TWIN bed room! (two separated beds). Considering the hotel is called AMOR it is really annoying that they dont understand what kind of room a couple wants when in their honeymoon! To be honest I expected at least a greeting at the reception "congrats" or something like that. But it is obvious they don't read the guest comments in the reservations. The next day they gave us the double bed room that we requested in the first place, but off course it was really a twin bed united, so with a nice gap in between. An official "We're sorry" from the hotel would have been nice too. They should really consider changing the name of the hotel... The standard rooms are nothing like the pictures provided by the hotel. Between the bed and the front wall there is only 1 meter, so it feels really narrow. The hotel is in good condition, the gardens are beatiful and the breakfast is good, but the hotel is far from center (20 min walk).

Absolutely lovely hotel grounds, beautifully kept, scented plants everywhere. Friendly staff. We stayed in the Villa: beautiful bright airy room with a roof terrace and sea view. In May you can tell the hotel was gearing up for the season but it was perfect for us: quiet, nice weather but not too hot, clean and fresh surroundings. Food was fine, we ate in the restaurant on our second night, lovely salads and a few meat choices. Very reasonable price too at about £17 for both of us excluding drinks. We have been left with a very positive impression of Supetar and this hotel.

A hotel worth recommended for everyone Hotel and restaurant staff are very friendly and approachable. Love to see them smiling always to guests. Hotel area is clean and peaceful, its a nice place to relax and unwind. Be back again for sure.
