Mantra on View Surfers Paradise recensioner

We had a great time at Mantra in surfers. Front desk staff was lovely and helpful. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable. There was an issue with the shower head , the water was barely coming out due to build up of limescale and an old shower head. Also the shower gel dispenser was empty. Overall a pleasant stay

We booked the ocean view room and it was nice! The hotel is close to the beach.

The location is perfect and centrally located in the heart of shopping centres, walking distance to the beach and night life. Great rooms on the 22nd floor. The beds are very comfortable, and the room is spacious for up to 3/4 people. The downside for us was that the staff at the reception told us that there wasn't a restaurant located in the hotel when we enquired while checking in, so we went out to look for something to eat after we checked in to the hotel, only to get back to find a brochure in our room advertising a Cafe conveniently located in the hotel for guests. I highly recommend that the staff need to be informed of any changes in the hotel so that they are able to provide accurate information about the hotel to the guests. The check-in and check-out process was great, made conveniently for guests and staff, there's no long cues at the reception👍🏾 We'll definitely be returning.

Very old amenities, cabinets are broken. Sofa, table and carpets are quite old. Very thin curtains, doesn’t block any light in the morning. Barely any blankets for this weather, had to turn heater to 27 to keep warm at night. City view room gives us this view… Only good part is the location, close to tram station and beach.

Had to make a last minute dash to find a hotel with a great view of the city and of course the beach, ans got both. Price was affordable too for one night. The bed was nice and soft and with the ac on i had a great sleep. The parking fee is alright. Will definitely come back!

I don’t think the room is new, no toothbrush, big dust and noisy rooms

Nice yet very busy Hotel in a prime location on Gold Coast. not particularly well suited for children though okay. The balcony rails are a little bit low so one has to be particularly careful with children on the veranda though it is noted the hotel has a very clear label stating that children should be supervised at all times. Breakfast is exorbitantly expensive for what it is but credit should be given that they did not charge a four year old. The small swimming pools were quite nice and quite nice for a small child because they can be inside it and enjoy whole still close to a adult. can speaking price versus quality of Hotel it was okay it wasn’t great value though the location was excellent. there would be better options for children for sure and for this reason would not likely rebook unless other better more child appropriate locations were not available. 

I had tried to get away for the night i go online the computer generates booking 1 mth ahead instead of the present day after 5 hours still cannot get refund they say its my fault Moving forward one month yesterday i was meant to go down sadly i have what was thought a spider bite is lymphatic edema possibly cancer i explain my illness they pass me back and forth from trip.com to mantra then back again then say get proof i get discharge papers from hospital upload them to trip.com i get email back no refund available Totally saddened by the whole ordeal would not recommend trip.com or mantra to anyone

Hotel staff counter were really informative Gave us free wifi Clean room plenty desk bench space if needed to work ect Pretty brow at night Hotel had vegan body products to use Shower amazing water pressure and heat had a buffet breakfast was good staff were very attentive If travelling with kids there’s arcade down stairs Spas on 4th level good for all Right down stairs convenient store Also tram 2 min walk Beach access fee min walk as well as coffee club around corner and other food easy quick walk Stay just with partner but Would bring kids back to stay 👍🏼

I saw some guests on the Reseption who try to leave to hotel earlier a day or two. First of all the Reseption staff are not attention of the guests who are waiting a long time in a queue. They learn a new staff taking by phone but for those who stay in front of them they are not care! They didn’t want to make a refund for the parking until we asked! So rude! The management should pay attention to this! The reception is a face of the hotel !

Overall, the location of this hotel is pretty convenient and nearby everything in Surfers Paradise. However, the hotel room and interior was pretty outdated.

The carpet was absolutely disgusting. The price paid was not worth the stay.
