The hotel is small but since it was a nearby hotel to my relatives in Sutton Coldfield. However, overall the hotel is not bad and quiet, the restaurant provides a wide variety of British brewage

Kathy was really good at reception Very helpful and jolly person. Room was nice, clean Kathy helped me in finding my way. Also helped me punching my registration in She also helped me using the drinks machine. All in all I would say good hotel and good staff

I already knew there was no air-conditioning, our room temperature was 37.5 far too hot to sleep, luckily we brought our own fan as there was not one provided in the room. Breakfast there first morning was actually quite good but the second morning it was not, guessing a different cook.

Didn’t accomodate my accessibility requirements of a ground floor room at all, and made no effort to assist me when they changed my room to the top floor of a hotel with no lift. Initially not all the keys worked, and they didn’t supply enough towels for the two of us staying in the room. However, the reception resolved the key and towels issue when asked. We appreciated the presence of fans as it was a warm night, the bed and bedding was lovely, and the room was generally very clean.

A very clean, comfortable place to stay on the edge of Birmingham. Used this as my base location throughout my 2-month UK visit. Very helpful, friendly staff 24/7 to cover your needs. They occasionally made up an extra bed for my guest or cleaned up my room or provided fresh towels with no problems. Quiet comfortable beds & clean bathrooms at a reasonable price. Petrol station, restaurants, shops & post office within walking distance.

Very disappointed !! When we arrived told there was no lifts , we were in Room 217 , The room hadn’t been cleaned , M &M sweets all over the floor , it was a No Smoking room ….Cigarette butts stubbed out over the outside window ledge ( disgusting ) I got locked in the bathroom, the door handle came off in my hand , I don’t know what I would’ve done if my husband hadn’t been with me . Will not be returning !!!

We booked for 3 nights to see family. The premier is outdated and staff not very friendly during our visit, there didn’t seem to be any staff around and when there was someone at the desk they never spoke. Just to say hello would have been nice. The first evening we arrived we had a member of staff knocking on the door to tell us they had received a noise complaint bearing in mind we had only been there an hour and it was late and we could also hear the people above us and those walking on the landing. It is an older building. We could hear everything. And so could every other guest staying. We left a night earlier than planned as we didn’t feel very welcome.

The room was comfortable and what you expected from a Premier Inn and therefore value for money. There were grubby marks on the walls and ceiling but generally clean. This one is an older property and the communal areas are in need of updating. Food is available in the adjoining pub.

Staying with a young baby and my daughter on the second floor with no lift !! Could have been a problem, but it wasn’t . Grace did everything she could to help us, including carrying luggage up and downstairs. I would certainly recommend staying here , just for the amazing staff . A big thank you to Grace who went above and beyond to help .
