Greyhound Hotel

I chose to stay at The Greyhound Pub the night before and night of my wedding. The staff were attentative and accommodating to my needs, were very friendly and seemed to give consideration and respect for this special event in my life. The managers assisted with our celebrations in the morning after out wedding with congratulations. It felt homely and family run. Thank you for the feelings you gave us for the start of our new chapter.

The hotel had a lively outlook from the front opposite a lovely park where we enjoyed a morning walk after breakfast. The room was excellant with a comfortable bed, good quality pillows and duvet. Tea and coffee facilities also included and even a hair dryer. Bathroom was bright and towels were fluffy. Quiet location Enjoyed a lovely English breakfast for £13:50 the next morning which also includes cerals toast, tea juice and coffee

The staff here are amazing, nothing is too much trouble. Amy and Dan deserve a special mention as they went above and beyond. Travelling alone for business I am always made to feel welcome and the food is really tasty. would definitely recommend.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the staff were attentive, welcoming and hard working; the landlords must be very proud of them. We unfortunately only found out a couple of names- George and Archie at the bar - thanks for making us feel at home. The drinks and ales are good quality and the food is decent. ACCOMMODATION We stayed in a cosy double room. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The air conditioning helped keep the room cool and worked efficiently. The shower had excellent pressure and we enjoyed the luxury Bramley toiletries - such lovely aromas that seemed to permeate into the hotels corridors. The room had a hairdryer, iron, ironing board and fridge. The only thing missing was a magnified makeup mirror. The room also supplied water, coffee, tea and delicious homemade biscuits. For a cost there were extra snacks in a basket. The next morning we had a lovely breakfast, great value with delicious filter coffee! I can’t praise this hotel enough whatever they’re doing is Spot On!

This is our third visit in the last three weeks and have stayed here many times previously. We absolutely love everything about this place. All the staff and management are so polite, friendly and helpful and go out of their way to provide an excellent service. The accommodation is exceptional. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spotlessly clean, and the beds are so comfortable. We have all our meals at the hotel and the quality of the food is excellent. We also bring our own greyhound with us who is given treats and a bowl of water on every visit to the bar. We have worked in hospitality for many years and know what it takes to provide excellence, and the Greyhound achieves this in all area's.

We stayed for a Monday evening dinner, bed and breakfast deal , which was great value The room , in the annexe behind the pub , was super comfortable , spacious and no traffic noise . Very comfy bed and an elegant bathroom ! Great location ! We enjoyed the view over Carshalton Ponds from our dinner table and had a lovely meal . Breakfast was fabulous ; great choice , good quality and generous portions . The staff were all lovely and kindly arranged a late check out for us at 12midday. We had time to explore the local area and enjoyed a walk to Wilderness Island. Highly recommended! We will hope to stay again , when we visit our family who live close by
