Malu Hotel Suwon recensioner

The hotel is located away from public transport. Road/footpath to the hotel is not smooth, very bumpy for luggages and a long walk. The receptionists are Chinese and do not even speak basic English. It's hard to communicate. When we requested to store our luggage prior to checking in, the staff pointed to the storage room and we had to do all the moving, storing, and adjusting for space ourselves. Staff just sat behind counter the whole time. When asked about how to get to the Hwaseong Fortress, whether to turn left or right, she said she doesn't know and told us to find out ourselves. When we wanted to check in to our room, they said our room is located in the opposite building. As we moved our luggage from storage to the opposite building, both staff just sat behind the counter without even offering the least of help. Very unhelpful and unfriendly. Please avoid unless you speak good mandarin and good korean.

It is quite hidden to find it. As there aren't many parking spaces, you need to go to the reception and he's even going to park your car where a cone is reserving the parking space for the Malu Hotel after you check-in. The bed was a bit bouncy but okay, as I didn't slept much. You can hear people talking in the corridor through the door. There was a small kitchen with a kettle and microwave. A fridge and tiny freezer in it, with bottles of water. The shower head handle was cracked so the water was leaking from there too, but I had a nice hot shower with a big towel since a long time.

The location is fine and clean! The room and facilities are also fine. We had a good stay for two nights.

Hotel from train station is slightly further than my previous hotel location but still is a short walk to the food street with many eateries. The bathroom is clean but the mattress is soft.

Easy to get uber from this place, just that the bed cover got stain, and the towel didnt change for us even we stay there for three nights. For the location its nearby to china street so there are many china steamboat around, korean foods are good too

The hotel is a little hidden away, but it's very close to Suwon Station Exit 8. You can take a taxi from the station, but you can't take one to the station. So, if you did some considerable shopping, be prepared to walk with your stuff. There are lots of places to eat with decent choices. It was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The location is around 10 minutes walk from the main train station n bus station of Suwon. Nearby bus stop is around 4 to 5 minutes walk. The room was big and comfortable.

The location is good. We have stayed for 3 days. Facilities are okay. The room is big enough for 2 people.

The hotel is located near the busy area of Suwon. Walking distance to 7/11 and lots of food hub nearby within a walking distance reach. Bus station is about 400meters from the area. Suwon station is almost about the same distance.

Bit far from subway. Hidden inside the alley.

It was great place to stay near suwon station

This hotel was walking distance to Suwon station and spacious. The shower temperature and pressure was great! They replenished bottled water and coffee everyday. They TV had Netflix. The only downside was I couldn’t adjust the thermostat, but there was a window I could open.

Location is very close to high street. Access was quite convenient from a counter at building across the hotel. We love the cosy room set up. But a bit of struggle to fiddle with smart TV remote control with Korean texts.

it was my first time in Suwon ( with a tight budget ) , but the hotel exceeded my expectations with their facilities and services.. the hotel is in great location too, few minutes walk from suwon station..and everything is in walking distance which is great
