MeetU Int'l Youth Hostel recensioner

The hostel is pretty close to the metro, and you’ll need to take an elevator up to the 4th floor to get there. There are lots of restaurants nearby, which is super convenient. The staff were helpful, but just a heads-up — towels aren’t included. You’ll need to leave a 50 deposit to borrow one, and the towel is surprisingly tiny (think: hair towel size). The room was alright. It’s split into 3 small sections inside, so you can definitely hear what’s going on in the next room — not ideal if you’re a light sleeper. Bathrooms are okay and kept clean, but there’s only one shared shower/toilet zone for the whole hostel. If your room is at the far end of the hallway like mine was, it’s a bit of a walk to get to the bathroom each time, which isn’t super convenient.

This hostel has a really good location, making it easy to explore Suzhou. The staff speaks English, which was super helpful, and the room was really nice and comfortable. I truly enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend it to other travelers!

Well... my "room" was not cleaned at all when I arrived. There was dirt on the floor and hair from other people on my bed. I wonder if they even made my bed fresh, or if they just folded everything from my predecessor and put it back on the bed. The bed was extremely unconfortable since it was only a wooden board with a thin topper on it. But that's just personal preference. The bathroom wasn't clean. The staff was friendly tho. The concept is good but the implementation bad.

Cozy and Private Stay in Suzhou I had a great stay at this hostel! My room was tiny but very comfortable, perfect for privacy and a good night’s rest. The shared facilities were well-maintained, clean, and convenient. The overall atmosphere was welcoming, making it a great base for exploring Suzhou (location is good as well). Highly recommend for solo travelers looking for a cozy and budget-friendly stay!

The service is very good but the facilities need more maintenance ,also is very considered to provide identification cards for luggage storage. There are many restaurants near.

Clean and central hostel with big common room terrace and shared rooms with separeted single beds (like small single rooms in the room). Kind staff and free tea.

There were some nails from someone else on the table in my room, but good service from the people working here. Very eager to help.

Amazing location, great price, and the amenities were surprisingly nice! Even the sleeping cubicle was larger than expected. If I visit the city again, I will definitely stay here!!

Cleanliness can be improved, the shared toilets (showers are great though)/ the bottom of the bed/side of the bed are dirty (bed sheets are clean which is the most important). It is passable but would definitely be good if the cleanliness can be improved. Location is perfect, very near a train station and the walking street. Staff were friendly and contactable 24/7.

I really liked the mini private room, it was so cosy. Inside the room there was wrong kind of socket, so i had to charge my things in the common area. I recommend this hostel. I enjoyed my short stay in Suzhou
