Beautiful room with a view. Room was very clean and well managed. Amenities was perfect for adults and children. Although furniture are slightly old, but we have no problems with it.

Oakwood residence and hotel is located at the lakeside with beautiful scenery. The rooms are exceptionally clean and well kept. More importantly, the front desk staff Alice and Joseph showed great politeness and professionalism when arrived at the hotel in the midnight, making me feel that it's an excellent "home away from Home".

The hotel is located in a very quiet neighborhood right next to the DuShu lake. There’s a beautiful park with a waterfront promenade and some splendid views along the way. The staff are welcoming and happy to assist with requests . The hotel is a stone’s throw from MoonBay metro station . Overall, if you want to have some quiet time , this hotel is ideal!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Oakwood in Suzhou, located right by the picturesque Dushu Lake. The location is fantastic - the lake makes for a beautiful and peaceful setting. The hotel itself is quite good. I found it to be nice and quiet, which allowed me to relax and get a restful night's sleep. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. Service and amenities are solid. The staff are friendly and accommodating. While perhaps not the absolute height of luxury, the Oakwood provides everything you need for a pleasant stay. Overall, I rate this hotel an 8 out of 10. It's a very good choice if you're looking for a nice place to stay in the Dushu Lake area of Suzhou. The tranquil location and quality of the hotel make it easy for me to recommend the Oakwood.

Electricity were out but the staff are able to change our room pretty fast.
