This hotel beautifully blends modern elegance with traditional Chinese design elements, creating a serene and visually stunning environment. Traditional features, such as pagoda-style roofs and subtle nods to Chinese aesthetics, add a unique and authentic charm. The spacious rooms, complete with balconies, make it an ideal retreat for guests seeking a perfect mix of comfort, style, and cultural immersion. What’s even better is the complimentary high tea and morning coffee served to all guests, adding a touch of luxury to the stay. The front desk staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, with special thanks to Rainbow (our WeChat conversation), who went above and beyond to assist my family. She selflessly used her own Didi account to help us book a car to Pudong Airport, making our experience truly memorable. We’re incredibly grateful for her dedication and kindness.

Hotel was beautiful, everything was clean, all staff were so polite, helpful and nice! All the amenities were fantastic, the slippers were especially comfortable and body lotion was great (we bought a bottle afterwards)! Hotel lobby was beautiful with all the Christmas decorations and everything smelled nice (they even had diffusers inside the lifts). Hotel breakfast was quite good too with some Suzhou specialities like noodles, and a mix of western and Chinese varieties. We had a room with balcony and it was beautiful in the morning with the sunlight coming through, was also great to sit there to get some fresh air! Another special mention to all the staff, they carried our luggage to/from car, always opened the door for us, answered all our questions with patience! My parents also loved the bathtub where they could relax after a day out!

One of my favourite stays in China. The room and hotel was spacious and tastefully designed with a wide range of amenities. Loved the views, breakfast spread, gym and most of all, the service was great all round!

It was a perfect trip. The hotel’s location is excellent, and the building’s design is both modern and luxurious. What stood out the most, was the hospitality of the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly and provided impeccable service. In particular, Rachel took great care of us throughout our stay with her thoughtful attention to detail. If I ever visit Suzhou again, I will definitely stay at this hotel without hesitation.

Love the hotel, great environment and there is also some restaurants and bar right outside the hotel, very convenient and pleasant stay. The services is good too, they even prepare kids toothbrush and slipper for my daughter, very thoughtful The staff Cherry is very helpful too throughout our stay. Will definitely be back again if I ever visit SZ again!

Location is convenient to many sightseeing spots. Food at the hotel is good. Service from housekeeping, front desk and restaurant is great and attentive. Special thanks to Helena and Brian serving breakfast at the restaurant. Very attentive and helping my mom in her 70s all the time. If you want to try something else other than hotel food, right outside the hotel you will find lots of restaurants of different cuisine and cafes, literally within 1 min walk.

Excellent stay at the Kimpton - Rooms were large and tastefully furnished, and the indoor pool and gym were also excellent. The hotel is also right beside an upscale open-air mall with several eateries, so there were many good meal options right by our doorstep when we didn't want to head further out to town.

The hotel is superb . Easily accessible to multiple locations and nearby restaurants . The room is spacious and clean , loving the huge bath tub, very Suzhou vibes. One of the best memory is the great breakfast especially the noodle soup!!!! So delicious that I’m still thinking about it till today. Highly recommend !

This is a very nice hotel located in the old city of Suzhou. Service was excellent. We had dinner at the restaurant which was very tasteful. Breakfast buffet was a very good selection of both Chinese and western varieties. The rooms are super comfortable with a balcony. The hotel is equipped with a good sized gym, even with a Pilates reformer. The pool would have been tranquil if not for the life-guard, apparently also doubling duty as a swimming coach, giving loud instructions to two swimmers.

We had an excellent stay at the hotel. The welcome was friendly from the moment we arrived to the time that we left. The room was clean and modern with a nice balcony view which brings in welcomed natural light. You could choose option of a power shower or a ultra cool bath. I liked the there were lovely Christmas themed decorations which brightened up the evenings. The aesthetics was very pleasing to the eye. The breakfast was fantastic- good options and also great service. The hotel is within a modern complex so you also had restaurant options on your doorstep. Also there is a subway station a few steps away- perfectly placed location. We would definitely come back to stay here. It’s a great option for couples, families or singles.

Very modern hotel with strong Su Xhalou characteristics. The hotel is comfy and smart, and the staff are all very well trained. It is located in the old city center, which is very convenient to access to most places of interests. Will definitely go there next time when I visit Su Zhou. Highly recommended!
