This was the most expensive hotel of our holiday with the worst quality. It's an old hotel with dirty carpets and depressing overall environment. The breakfast was so, so.
The beds were quite good though!

This place is near to railway station. We walked around 10 minutes. It takes around 30 minutes to the centre of city. But one the tample is near to this hotel. And metro the red line is near to it.
The staff don't speak English.
The room was a really small. The building is very old and dirty.

My family and I stayed at this hotel during our trip to Suzhou. Unfortunately, my experience didn't quite meet my expectations. The day when we arrive, the lift is broken, and it's under repairs. The staff offered us to store our luggage at the front desk and suggested that we walk around the city and check in later on. But, it was bad weather outside with heavy wind. So we decided to carry our luggage ourselves from the ground floor to the 4th floor 😓 The room is quite big, but it's a smoking room and the toilet door is loose. The only good thing is they provide a small welcome gift for us and they provided parcel collection service for guest.

Convenient location relatively close to the railway station. Spacious and clean room.
The building and common areas look outdated. Breakfast was somewhat "meh", can't say that I liked any particular food that was offered.

First of all, the hotel name on the signboard is Elong, not Hanting. It was probably an acquisition from Hanting looking at the design. The hotel is located within a reasonable walking distance from Suzhou train station, about 1km away. If i do not carry heavy luggage and bagpack, i would consider to walk, but since i did, i decided to take the taxi and was cursed all the way from the train station to the hotel by the taxi driver. I told the lady who checked me in the ordeal and she listened attentively to my story and probably is the reason i was given free breakfast coupon. There is a welcome pack with snacks too. The room i got was quite a huge one on the ground floor, some parts of the flooring and cabinet were peeling already. Otherwise everything else is fine.

Room was right at medium junction. I woke up every 1-2 hours. The room was not dirty but the cleaning staff did you flush. There were some stain in the washlet. Near elevator, all were dusty.

The name of the hotel so confusing. We make our trip from Shanghai to Suzhounan because the name was stated as near the railway station. The room given was the smoking room make the room smell very bed as soon as we open the door.

The hotel is located very strategically. Just 15 minute walk from Suzhou Railway Station. The walk is also quite scenic with the river so close by. The room is comfortably spacious, the bedding is clean, and the bed, pillows and blankets really comfy. The robe area is quite wide for easy unpacking. There’s sufficient heating for the room, toilet and shower area is decently sized, well-lit and stocked with amenities. The breakfast option offers a variety of food, tasty and quite well-stocked. Staff is very friendly and helpful, really wanting to help so guests enjoy a good stay. Our plans ended up changing and we needed to stay another night in Suzhou, so the staff kindly helped put us in the same room for convenience. There are restaurants nearby, and a small convenience store around the corner.
All in all, It was an excellent, comfortable stay!

Incredible hospitality and spacious rooms! From the very beginning, we were treated with such kindness by the front desk and even received a free upgrade! Our rooms exceeded our expectations and our only regret was that we were only staying one night. Plus the hotel is conveniently located 10 min walk from the train station. Will absolutely stay here again and highly recommend for all other travelers!
