Very friendly and competent host! We appreciated their hospitality compared to all the ten other guesthouses we stayed at in Iceland as a family. Highly recommended!

Most generous and warm guest house. Its an authentic iceland house convert to guesthouse. We are happy to have an experience to stay like a local. Owner let us use her washing machine and dryer, loaded the fridge with fruits and local food for self service breakfasts and hot tub to have a wonderful evening experience. Highly recommended.

Ресепшн находится отдельно. Сам гестхаус -отдельно стоящий домик на 5 номеров. Есть гостиная с необходимым набором посуды для приготовления.
Для заселения в ресепшн дают код от ящичка, где находятся ключи от номера.
Завтрак - необходимо самим брать из холодильника - нарезка из колбасы, сыра, хлеб, сок, йогурт, хлопья.

It's a lovely setting on a horse farm with good beds and pillows, a nice light room. The Big turnoff was a shared kitchen and living space with 2 other traveling families. Our room was right off of the kitchen/living space and the noise level was unacceptable after a long day of traveling. We arrived right in the middle of their dinner as they sat down at the dining room table-Surprise! It was not clear from the listing that this space had a shared kitchen and it was quite crowded to cook. It was in fact very awkward. We luckily had decent people staying with us, but their habits were not our habits and for the money, there were too many adjustments to make. It's a shame that the bedrooms/lodging were not more private. It's great for a large group traveling together, but otherwise too many rooms and people densely packed together.

The location is excellent - it's close to a town, but in the country with beautiful scenery. It has a free hot tub, which we used and enjoyed. You also have the use of a kitchen and a beautiful sitting area. The breakfast was included as well. There are two bathrooms for five rooms, so one was always free. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

This was the nicest guesthouse my friend and I stayed at as we toured Iceland on bikes. It is a great location if you want to stay near Glumbaer. The building is brand new and modern with two very large and modern bathrooms and a good sized kitchen with all the appliances we needed (including a couple of coffee options). Instead of serving a breakfast, the owners stocked the fridge and pantry so we had an assortment of breads, spreads, meats, cheeses, skyr, fruit, some vegetables and juices as well as eggs. There was a grill on the patio as well, but we didn't use it while we were there. The guesthouse is surrounded by pastures, so you almost always see a horse when you look out a window. The hottub is fed by a thermal spring and was a great way to relax. I had hoped the owners would push horse-riding on us, but they were off-site.

The house was quite clean and tidy. I loved the fact that hosts were generous with the food items and stacked the fridge for us for breakfast. The stay includes hot tub, friendly little horses around and an amazing view. Overall my experience was great no complaints.

This family-run stay was our favorite guest-house stay. It was very clean, modern, warm and "homey" with excellent amenities, including a fully stocked kitchen, dining room, TV and hot tub. We were fortunate to share these amenities with other friendly and considerate guests. After arriving we arranged a horseback riding farm tour which was also convenient and very enjoyable. Lovely people, lovely and enjoyable time - highly recommend!

We booked this on short notice and are absolutely amazed by this guest house! Most definitely the best self-service guesthouse we ever booked in Iceland. It is clean, comfortable, has a nice lounging area, the kitchen is well equipped and there's even breakfast included with everything your heart desires. The hot tub waiting for us was the icing on the cake. Watching the northern lights from there was a dream coming true. Thank you for having us as guests.
