Love the surrounding area. Location is far if you didn’t drive. Good for 6 person stay. More in home stay

The best hotel in Svolvær even better than Thon Hotel. You can enjoy the life in traditional rorbuer. I stayed in number 30 rorbu for two nights, and thats the best position to see the aurora. It take around 15 mins to the city if you walk. Will choose this again next time

😊Good hotel with best service. A lady at reception (sorry for not asking your name) was helping us carrying very heavy luggage to the room with high stairs. Sufficiency amenities and kitchen ware and dishwashing soap. Coffee, tea, cocoa with cookies serves in the morning with no extra charge. 🥹 only one door handle fell off but temporary fixable by ourselves.

小木屋的環境很好，設施基本上都有配備。沒有吹風機，拖鞋。洗髮露是二合一的那種，温度可以調節。我們是半夜1點多到達的酒店，沒有工作人員了，自助辦理的入住，鑰匙放在門口的小箱裏，放了一張地圖，去找我們的房間很有意思。

風景特別美，房間也很寬敞，雙人房感覺能住四個人

在屋裡推開窗就看到了極光 還能説什麼呢 棒極了！

超棒的度假酒店，房間很乾凈整潔，酒店周邊風景很美，吃飯和加油都很方便，酒店附近有很大的超市，非常喜歡這家酒店，下次再去一定還住這家酒店

Whilst this is a quirky place to stay , I’ve knocked this down to a two star as major flaws. In no particular order as they are all equally serious. Firstly - the rooms are scattered all over and in this cold temperature you would think someone would put grit down or shovel snow . There is so much ice on the slope up/down to the cabins and snow covering deep steps . This should be gritted on a daily basis. I’m surprised no one has broken a limb. Secondly - The shower is dangerous. You can put an anti slip Matt in the shower . It won’t cost you much at all . The shower leaks and so we have two major slip hazards . Thirdly - You are very cautious in specifying ingredients at breakfast, wheat and lactose ; however no one pointed out the nut bread . Are you trying to kill your guests. The cabins are very small and quirky, but please take into account when booking as the single beds are extra small and not big enough for curvy people like myself . The shower also has a tiny door way, so that was a bit of a squeeze too. If you are tall, then please be careful as the cabins are low. If you suffer allergies , please remember to bring anti histamines. The dust was so bad, my skin itched for several days . I kept the windows open to air the place out. Reception shuts at 4pm daily. Breakfast buffet - basic but edible For those late check ins - unless you have done a food shop before hand you will be disappointed as there is no access to water tea or coffee and the restaurant/bar is only available between 6pm and 9pm. I literally had to beg for a hot beverage when I arrived as there are no complimentary tea or coffee for new arrivals and if you are hungry then you will have to go without until breakfast is served at 8 am ONE HUGE POSITIVE - Those chefs are amazing . We are talking Michelin star quality and presentation. You are in the sticks a bit but it’s a 15 min walk across the bridge for a couple of restaurants or a short taxi ride which reception can arrange.

Fantastic little cabins Well equipped (we catered for ourselves 2 nights) Toasty warm and a view to die for. We were in cabin 24 - great elevated view but be ready for a number of steps up to it - so be wary if you’re not steady on your feet, especially in snow! One thing we hadn’t considered was all the beds were single - maybe not ideal for a romantic break! Well positioned location to explore the town. We ate one night at the on site restaurant- booking definitely advised. Breakfast in the same restaurant was a good selection - salmon & scrambled eggs were fantastic!

My wife and I absolutely loved our two-day stay at Svinoya Rorbuer, a small village of beautifully restored cabins. Our rorbu (#22) was perfectly situated at the end of the pier, where we enjoyed unobstructed views of the sunrise over the Norwegian Sea and jagged mountains rising straight above us. There are different configuration rorbuer and ours had a nice comfortable living space and kitchen, which looked to have been added on to the original cabin. We took advantage of that by eating in one night. Our dinner at the on-site restaurant, Børsen Spiseri, was a real treat. Seriously fine cuisine in a very authentic, rustic atmosphere that belied it's large, two-floor footprint. The little cocktail bar just inside the front door was a nice welcome. We also were treated to a fantastic northern lights show, with mesmerizing colors dancing across the skies for almost four hours, right from our front porch.

This Inn had some very tired staff. No one smiled and we guess they had had a very busy summer Breakfast buffet was above average. Dinner delicious Our 2 bedroom cottage was spacious. Fireplace stove was not working. Freat location for day trips

Our company arranged a trip for all our emplyees this October and Svinøya rorbuer made all the arrangments. We planned for some actitivies, some conferences and nice dinners. Everything including transport, dining, activities like rib tour & sauna, conference room was arranged by them. All we had to do was to follow the scheduled plan. Their restaurant Børsen was excellent and the accomodation was also great in rorbu practically on the sea. Thanks for having us!
