Well located, quiet area with well appointed rooms. The bonus is a Jura coffee machine in the guest lounge, as life is too short for bad coffee.

Have stayed here a few times now. Great location. For exploring the area and town. Very welcoming staff, lovely rooms with some really nice touches. Great breakfasts , courtesy bar and easy parking . Cannot fault it. Nice and quiet at night too.

You can't go wrong with the Namib Guesthouse. The staff is friendly, the rooms are comfortable and there is a lovely little courtyard in the midst of it all where you can enjoy some sunshine. Breakfast was delicious. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the main part of downtown, but the weather is beautiful so we didn't mind that at all.

This was our second time at the namib guesthouse as we had a wounderful experience the last time. The Namib Guesthouse is centrally located and within walking distance of Swakopmund city center. The hostesses are extremely warm and very helpful in all matters. Among other things, when you check in you will receive a city map and all the sights and ways to get there will be explained. They are also very helpful with reserving a table for dinner in one of the numerous restaurants in the city. The rooms are spacious, quiet and modern furnished. Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired You can park your vehicle in a guarded parking lot directly in front of the accommodation. For us, the Namib Guesthouse is the ideal place for a few beautiful days on the coast and the perfect starting point for all kinds of activities around Swakopmund and Walvisbay

This B&B is described as uber chic & designed for the contemporary traveller; a luxurious guesthouse. I'm not sure how we ended up then in this annexe/apartment out the back of the parking area that didn't for me reflect a luxury suite as I had booked. It was very large (so if you want space or you are a family then maybe it will suit), from the photos you can see a huge kitchen area, a lounge area then bedroom and bathroom. But the design was very basic, bland and dated wood panelled wardrobes & tacky kitchen units. Unfortunately just wasn't my taste at all and was a soulless room. But it was clean and the bed comfy. From the pics/photos on the website I can see the other main rooms are probably much nicer. Needless to say the staff were very lovely and we enjoyed a nice breakfast. Luckily we were just 1 night here and then off to Damaraland. Also worth highlighting that we arrived on a Sunday and everything pretty much closed up and town very quiet, I'd choose a different day of the week to be in town if you can.

Well located about 10 minutes from town. Very quiet residential location. Felt very safe walking back after evening meals. The hotel is a little more like a motel in style but it was very clean and the service was good with all necessary amenities. It doesn’t have the wow factor of the other hotels on our Namibia trip but would recommend as a place to stay in Swakopmund.

Extreme value for money, no complaints everything was great. Room was great, breakfast was great, staff were all friendly and pleasant. I really enjoyed my stay at Namib guesthouse, definitely well worth the money spent.
