Lovely quiet hotel, nice and clean. Just what you need. Really close to everything. Easy to check in, Claire on the reception desk was lovely and really helpful. We stayed on a Saturday night and it was really quiet which was a surprise. Rooms are basic Travelodge rooms but not in a bad way.

Needed somewhere to stay in this area, and glad we found this Travelodge. Huge room, comfy bed, spacious bathroom, plenty of parking and easy access to Metrocentre and the A1. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely use again.

What a great team. Welcomed by Sam and Lindsey who were kind, friendly and a great welcome to the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. Travelodge are very lucky to have them. Thanks very much :)

Nicely located, cheap Uber ride away from Newcastle centre and great value for money for a party of 12.

Pleasant stay and comfortable. Only reservation was the bath/shower. Bath surface needs rough surface or bath mat as slippy even when dry. Handy for Gateshead and Newcastle. Could do with better signage. If visiting turn up by KFC and follow road round.

Room was very clean. Bed comfortable. Gillian and Natalie our housekeepers were very helpful give us everything we needed. Then told us where was nice to eat. Very good stay will come again
