We stayed here on the garden route stop over. This is a charming location in a very quiet spot with very adequate rooms and facilities. The check-in and check out at the hotel was very efficient and speedy. It may not have all the five star creature comforts, but it makes up for it in the unusual quirky location sleeping in the countryside.

The rooms are cosy and beautiful we really enjoyed it there and will recommend it to anyone. The owner is very nice and he has a beautiful dog.

What an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived we fell in love with Arumvale! The cottage we stayed in had the most gorgeous view of the mountains and it was so peaceful. My favourite part definitely has to be the little balcony upstairs where I sat most days soaking up the sun and reading. And then when it turned chilly in the evening, we had a fully stocked fireplace to keep us warm. I can honestly recommend this to anyone trying to get away and re-energize. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Arumvale is absolutely beautiful and was the perfect location for me and my bridesmaids the day before my wedding in Swellendam. The hosts were helpful and willing to accommodate us in every way, which I find rare and greatly appreciated. The area in which the unit is situated is stunning and peaceful and I would recommend staying here to everyone.

A beautiful and peaceful setting with endless views over the Swellendam landscape from our bedroom. Charming accommodation and a friendly welcome added to the experience. The cottage was well equipped, tastefully decorated and the bed comfortable. A memorable stay and we would love to return to Arumvale.

A stunning location and a very comfortable stay. The accommodation is like a home from home. I would totally recommend staying here, in under 5 mins from the town but a peaceful spot. Feedback - I would say there needs to be more than one chopping board in the kitchen and perhaps another stand fan for hot weather.

We enjoyed a lovely one night stay in a one bedroom guest room, with lounge, kitchen and veranda. The pretty house is in a wonderful rural location but 5 minutes drive to Swellendam. We were met by one of the staff and he helped us settle in and gave us local information.Everything we needed was in the room and we particularly enjoyed having a drink on the veranda on a warm evening. The room was tastefully decorated, a few creaky cupboards in the kitchen but the overall feel is charming, and we wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
