This property is in the heart of downtown Swindon. A Salvation Army shares the building so there were always people hangin out in front. Never felt unsafe, just a bit seedy. Great location in the heart of downtown. Easy to walk to shopping and restaurants. Room was clean and did the job. Can't really complain for the price.

Our first stay at this hotel and we were impressed. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a good variety of food, the hot food was obviously freshly cooked and everything was kept 'topped-up'. The staff were very helpful and friendly - interested in us as their guests. We would have no hesitation in booking to stay again!

Staff were welcoming, informative, helpful and informative all with a sense of humour! Travelodge was what you expect from a Travelodge - easy access to all amenities - stayed on a Saturday night and not too noisy outside and inside was quiet. Rooms clean, easily changed one of our rooms to a family so that two family members had separate beds. All that we needed was provided.

Great value for money, right in the town centre. Hotel itself was very clean, Welcoming staff and nice entrance. Room is basic and a little small, but was clean, comfy beds, nice bathroom with a hot shower, big tv and great WiFi. The food was excellent. The staff during evening were amazing very friendly and helpful. Avril Antonio and Twizzle. Would really recommend staying here. Will be back again soon.

Well kept hotel - very little noise coming from outside even though hotel is on a main road. Staff were helpful and welcoming. No noise from inside or out. There is sort stay open pay & display car park across the road and a multi storey one almost next to it. Bit of an awkward walk into the town centre to get to pubs / food places. Hotel is used by a lot of contractors so on site bar / restaurant can get busy, but I had issues with that. We had issues flushing our toilet, in that you had to press the handle quite hard to get it to flush..

Bar well stocked, great selection of evening meals and staff that make you feel welcome and appreciated. Rooms are always spotless and the team have no issues topping yoy up wirb extea towels, tea and coffee 10/10 would recommend. Thank you to everyone.

I have now stayed at this hotel for 3 days a week for two weeks due to clinical work in Swindon. I can’t thanks the staff enough for there hospitality and support. I do however feel for the staff, as the lack of people using the hotel using masks amazes me. The staff try and remind the visitors about the mask rules. Just a shame people don’t have more respect for those still working through the pandemic. Sue was able to accommodate a room change to have a bath for me with no hassle. I’ve seen so much cleaning the staff are doing throughout the day to ensure the safety to those visitors. Well done to the team at Swindon Travel lodge central. See you next week
